Perfect Pipe Knife/Tool
After trying countless pipe tools this one shined above all. I prefer to have nicer things about me in my pipe smoking ritual and opted for this tool due to its elegant appearance and functionality. The pick is long enough for my larger pipes and the knife is perfect for daily bowl cleaning. I prefer the smaller tamper foot as it does not extinguish the tobacco while tamping. It's an investment that will last a lifetime of smoking pleasure.

Delicious All Day English!
This is the perfect English balance. The latakia is present but not overpowering; allowing the virginia and orientals to be experienced just as well. The blend has a slightly mild sweet taste; not sugary sweet...but subtle earthy sweet.Very cool and dry smoke; no tongue bite. Great all day smoke; full of flavor but will not fatigue your palate. I've had the pleasure of regularly visiting Marsha Kramer at Kramer's when it was open in Beverly Hills. I was so sad when it closed and thought I'd never have my favorite tobacco again. Thank you Smoking Pipes for keeping this wonderful blend and tradition alive!

Dan Tobacco - Old Ironsides 50g

It should be evident that this blend is for those who truly love Latakia. Tin aroma: Imagine a forest floor charred from a recent fire is starting to grow back and the morning dew has moistened the rich earth beneath the smoked bark creating a deep dark wet velvety musk. Taste: The latakia is boldly forward while the other tobaccos play an essential yet supporting role. It is not a complex blend but neither boring. Its somewhat lack of complexity is made up by its dedication to a lush, thick and creamy delivery of plentiful clouds of smoke. There are some things left better without complexity… If you enjoy your coffee black, your chocolate dark and your meat gamey you will enjoy Old Ironsides.
