RoMa Craft - Neanderthal SGP
A great stick
Have tried 3 of Romacrafts cigars that SmokingPipes sells and this was my favorite. If you like maduros and full flavored cigars, you should give this stick a whirl. Only wish there was a longer version available. 4-1/4” goes pretty quick. 5 or 5.5” would be perfect.
Sutliff - Molto Dolce 1.5oz
Definitely damp, doesn’t really dry out
As noted by others, this is a wet, oily blend. Seems to burn okay though. Although it pops and sizzles at initial lighting, I had no problems lighting and getting a good glowing ember going and could keep it going without over heating. Definitely didn’t burn hot. Watch out for ghosting from the oily compounds. Tin note is strange. Decent aromatic sweet flavor that remained consistent throughout bowl. I primarily smoked this in one of my cobs. I don’t think I’ll buy this again. Just simply a messy baccey to deal with. Needed to wipe fingers after loading the bowl every time.

Best pipe lighter I own
Love this lighter. Has incredible capacity!

Very similar to 1Q, both are very mild
Room note is nice. It's a mild cool smoke. On par with Lane 1Q or Newminister Optimal Choice. Either could be substituted if your preferred blend is out of stock.

Needed aging to marry the flavors and smooth it out, and WOW!
Tried it when I first received late December 2016, I cracked a tin to try it immediately. Wasn't a fan. Something was odd with it. Wasn't pleasant so I figured I'd let it age a bit. After 6 months sitting in my cellar, I tried it again. Wow! What a difference. It's now extremely enjoyable. One of my all time favorites. Was about to order a few tins to cellar but it's sold out.
Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening
Bought bulk, arrived VERY dry
Was expecting more from this blend. Does smell good in the jar and great room note, but lacked flavor. Found it very dry upon arrival; bought it bulk. Haven’t tried it from the tin yet. Experienced some bite with first couple of bowls. After adding some moisture back, the bite seemed to mostly disappear and more flavor was present. If it arrived more moist and cellared for 5-6 months, this blend would be outstanding.

Ok, but nothing special
Found this baccy okay to smoke. Some flavor but overall weak for my palate. Likely will never order again.
Sutliff - Christmas Spice
Yummy!
I do quite enjoy this blend. About to order more. Seemed a bit damp on arrival but it smoked just fine. It's a nice baccy for the holidays. Pick up the cinnamon notes regularly but it's not always present. Zero tongue bite. UPDATE: Middle of April and still my favorite daily smoke.

Peppery S'mores
Have to agree with Mark and Brandon, it has some peppery kick especially noticeable on the retro hail. It has a unique tin and room note. Definitely get the cocoa and marshmallow. Saw a reference to S'mores in someone's review and that's near spot on. I will give it a couple more bowls in a couple different pipes, but then will have to cellar it and see if it improves in 10-11 months.

Wow! So much better after some aging
Opened this up tonight after letting it age for 5 months in the cellar...wow! Much better. Amazing the difference. Now my favorite aromatic of all time. Deserving of 5 STARS!

Good introduction to aromatics for the non-aro smoker
Tobacco taste prevails over citrus. Do get small bursts of citrus every once in a while. Smells great! Perfect tobacco for the English smoker who wants to try something different but not a heavily topped aro.

Very nice, smooth
Wouldn't classify this as a full aro. There is indeed an hint of rum aroma, especially from the plug and when slicing it. But when smoked, it's a straight up VaPer. And an excellent one at that. Highly recommend, but the price point makes it a pricey 50 g serving. There are equally good, it not better VaPers locally sourced and half the price.
Lane Limited - Dark Red
Has potential, needs some aging though
Quite different from 1Q, LL7, and RLP6. Pecular aroma upon opening ziplock. The unaged vanilla and cherry combo is an odd one. If you like cream soda or cherry coke ice cream floats, this tobacco is for you. I tried a bowl right away. It's a bit moist. Had to relight a couple of times. Needs a few mins of drying time fresh out of the bag. This tobacco would benefit from 3-6 months of aging to let the flavors marry together a bit more. They are too independent now, at times I would get strong cherry, and other times vanilla, with very little actual tobacco flavor.

One of the best Lanes I've smoked
Definitely the best Lane I've smoked, maybe even one of the best aromatics I've tried. This was the first tobacco I couldn't put down. Usually I'll rotate my tobaccos, but this one started and stuck with until I smoked it all. Has a fantastic aroma in the bag and when smoked. I found 1-Q too light and not enough taste. This one is much better and during the cold winter season when most of my smoking occurs in my car as I commute to and from work, it leaves a really pleasant smell.
Lane Limited - 1-Q
Solid 3 stars, good starter tobacco, very mild
Has a nice smell, both smoked and unsmoked, but find it seriously lacks flavor. I just find it too mellow for my tastes. I prefer more bold tabaccos. 1-Q was the very first tobacco I purchased Dec 2014 when I took up the hobby. I very quickly moved away from it. I had purchased 4 oz. and had barely touched. I had forgotten about it. I recently dug it out of my cellar and gave it another go. Wow, definitely much better after almost a year of aging. Much more flavor, but still very mild and a bit too sweet for my tastes. A far cry from the dark fired hot pressed Kentucky I usually enjoy or some of GL Pease's fabulous blends.

Good stuff!
Definitely a new favorite and will become part of my rotation. Nice and strong. The fine shag cut definitely makes it easy to pack and light. But a drawback is it dries out fast. This stuff too dry, watch out!

Very Good! Nice and strong
A great smoke if you like strong flavor that isn't relying on a casing. Love the hits of Latakia. Too much for the summer heat though. Will be great for when the weather cools, or a nice rainy day sitting out on the porch.
Newminster - No.31 Optimal Choice
Very enjoyable, no hit from nic, great aroma
Think I like this a bit better that #24 Imperial Nougat, but these blends are very similar. Both smoke fine. Are mild. Little to no nic hit. Great room note. Been smoking these outside on my porch the past week now that spring has sprung and neighbors have complimented on the aroma.
Newminster - No.24 Imperial Nougat
Enjoyable, mild flavor that lasts
Mild smoke. Burns fairly well. Nice aroma and room note.
G. L. Pease - Sixpence 2oz
Amazing blend!
To date, the best tobacco I've put in my pipe. The smell when you open the tin is incredible...like sweet dried plums and figs. Forget smoking it, smells like you could eat the stuff! Bought a few extra tins that I'm cellaring and looking forward to aging it 4-5 years.
