Don't pay attention to any negative review about this amazing tobacco. This is exactly what the gods intended tobacco to taste like. If you have any complaints after smoking Black XX then I suggest you trade in your Grabow for a Vape box and join the hipster club. If it wasn't out of stock right now, I'd order 5 lbs of it.
Cornell & Diehl - Purple Cow 2oz
Punchy
Cigar leaf definitely takes center stage in this blend and lasts the whole bowl through. Subtle nuances of Burley and Virginia with a whisper of Latakia remind you that you are still smoking a pipe. Has a nice nicotine punch, as well, so I wouldn't recommend for the faint of heart. At first light, the ribbons dance in the flame reminiscent of some long forgotten ancient tribal ritual. After nursing my Mario Grandi for what seemed like an eternity of bliss, I was left with a clean white ash. A perfect end to a perfect blend. C&D always delivers.
