Cornell & Diehl - Epiphany 2oz
Smooth harmony
First impression upon lighting is sweet fruit. I believe there is no casing, so it arises from the tobacco itself. Tasty to the bottom of the bowl. The VAs and Burleys seem equal proportions, the perique wafts in and out, with a deepening flavor in the 2nd half of the bowl when the Latakia becomes more noticeable. Just love it. I hated House of Windsor’s rendition; pipe smoking since 1969 & this takes me back to the early days of quality tins. It’s never monotonous or dull. Gentle on the tongue.

Cornell & Diehl - Rajah's Court 2oz
Lively, exotic
Fell in love with this when I first smoked it. It is a mild balkan in my judgement. The orientals are always prominent, but in a perfect balance with the virginias and light dose of latakia. The room note is superb, bringing back memories of passing tobacconists in the shopping mall and catching the leathery and somewhat musty aromas pouring out into the courtyard! My love for it still grows. Good all day smoke, sharp and rich.
