Peter Heinrichs - Golden Sliced 100g
My favorite golden sliceed
I've smoked Orlick's Golden flake, Samuel Gwaith's Golden Glow and Reiner's Long golden flake and Peter Heinrich's is my favorite. I'll say that Orlick's is a bit more complex but somehow the Peter Heinrich is more satisfying. The flake is pressed ... into a continuous ribbon with a wondrous tin note to be enjoyed even when you don't have time for a bowl. Light yet rich this is a highly satisfying smoke and has won a place as one of three tobaccos to be awarded a dedicated pipe in my collection. The others being Peter Heinrich's Dark Strong and McClelland's Black woods flake.

Tabac De La Semois - La Brumeuse 3.5oz
Terrible
I gave this a try based on the reviews but it was just awful. I smoked five bowls to give it a fair chance and then I threw it out. I'm not posting this to take away from those that like it, but rather to give others a more realistic expectation. It is cigar like, but not in a good way. If you want cigar like flavor go with Escudo Navy Rolls. The tin note is of peat moss soaked with cat urine, the tobacco itself is extremely dry which makes for a very quick smoke. I did try to hydrate it for my fifth bowl, but I don't recommend it as it only made the foul taste more prevalent. I ended up throwing the rest of the it away. In short, some may enjoy this tobacco, but it definitely isn't for everyone. IMHO, this is the worst tasting tobacco I've smoked.

Peter Heinrichs - Dark Strong Flake 200g
Best Everyday Smoke
Peter Heinrich's Dark Strong has become my go to smoke. Sweet, rich and satisfying this is the standard on which all other tobaccos I smoke are judged. Delicious through out the bowl with out becoming bitter or heavy. The tin opens to beautiful dark brown and golden flakes with a rewarding tin note that sets me salivating. A perfect everyday smoke that never disappoints.
