I found this entirely too dry. The rum was good flavoring. I have smoked better.

woody with perique
This is a woody blend. Flavor of spiced BBQ. Strong flavor and spiciness. I prefer Frog Morton Cellar blend.

Great
A more rich Cavendish blend of the classic Captain Black. I recommend this to someone who is a more advanced smoker. Rich Cavendish is a real treat.

Fantastic
My Grandfather smoked it every day I knew him. It is nostalgic to look at the tin on my table and the bowl of my pipe. This is great stuff and I highly recommend it to beginners and old pros alike. I never go wrong with this blend in my tobacco rotation.

Great smoke
Very smooth and rich. The sweetness of the blend is very enjoyable and fullness of the smoking experience surprised me. This tobacco is the one blend that expanded me from strictly an aromatic smoker to one who enjoys a wider range.

Complex and good cigar blend
There is nothing like a good cigar. This blend gives that cigar flavor and combines it with an English woody, smoky pipe tobacco. It can be bitter. But still gives that pleasant woody pipe flavor. This is one I keep in my pipe tobacco stash.

too much latakia for me.
I smoke a lot. Mainly an aromatic smoker my review should bare this in mind. I tried this blend after reading a review. I was intrigued by the BBQ and spicy blend. Well, I opened it up and was overwhelmed by the amount of latakia and parique. The reviewers all said it had just a touch of latakia. Wrong! The flavor grew on me as I got threw the tin but it was hard to keep lit and has a strong after bite. I am not a fan and will not buy it again.
Dan Tobacco - Blue Note 50g
Great aromatic
The first time I smoked this blend in public, a woman stopped me and complimented the aroma of this blend. This stuff is a joy to smoke.The room note is like fresh baked goods. Sweet and a bit complex. It is sweet and fruity. Blue Note is wonderful right out of the tin. It is enjoyable and pleasant to smoke as part of a regular rotation.
