Lighters - Kiribi Takara Brass
Came with a bad flint that almost ruined it
The first 2 weeks I had the lighter it took about 10-15 strikes to light. I thought it was a bust and almost returned it, but ordered some extra Kiribi flints and since it works like a dream. Out of the box I’d give it a 2 maybe. It’s a quality lighter but very disappointed with how it came out of the box. I’d give it about a 4.5 if not for thinking it was broke until I spent extra to buy more flints. Especially considering shipping cost more than the flints did.
Mac Baren - HH Latakia Flake 1.75oz
Amazing
I received this tobacco a few weeks ago and it had a bit of plastic in it i think it was a problem at the factory, BUT without even emailing them SmokingPipes sent me a brand new tin of the stuff and I thought that was amazing customer service. But to the tobacco.. it was simply amazing the flakes are gorgeous and the smell and taste is perfect and i think this may become my favorite English(except maybe Balkan Blue).
Cornell & Diehl - Espresso
maybe if you like aromatics
So I am going to start by saying I dont like aromatics. But to make it short this tobacco smells like amazing fudge cake not at all coffee and that smell is awesome, however after drying for 3 hours(it is very wet) it has very little flavor and the flavor that is there is kinda chemically and i dumped the bowl half way through.
McClelland - Balkan Blue 50g
My all time favorite.
This tobacco is my number one smoke since I discovered it 2 years ago. It is a very complex smoke that has everything I look for in a tobacco starting with a beautiful exotic aroma. There is a light amount of latakia from what i can tell but amazing turkish to bring a bit of sweetness to the blend. Multiple times ive tried to find something i liked more but nothing quite scratches the itch.

bits of plastic in the flakes...
Yeah so i just got this tobacco in and was decanting into my jars like normal and I noticed a shiny bit in one of the flakes. I grabbed said flake and popped the thing out and its a piece of plastic. I went through all the flakes and discovered 7 of the flakes from this tin had little chunks of plastic in them. I've never tried Mac Baren before and I wont let this deter me I understand accidents happen but I am quite surprised and will be checking any future tobaccos by them to be sure.

For some reason iy would only let me rate 3 stars i wanted t give 4.5... but anyway,I was quite suprised when I got this tobacco, I was just wanting to try some new English blend but when I first smoked it its room note was lovely and the taste was fantastic. Once I tried it I looked at reviews on this site and was EXTREMELY suprised that no one else enjoyed it. I just ordered another few ounces. Do with this information whay you will
