Tabac De La Semois - Les Bouchons (Box of 10)
Fun!
This was fun for me to smoke! Like a very very mild cigar. I would buy this yearly if it ends being a special release. Not for everyday, but not nearly as cigar tasting as I was worried it might be. Really surprised by how much I enjoyed this.
Cornell & Diehl - Briar Fox 2oz
Top Notch
This is first class tobacco and you can just tell when you smoke it. Nice change of pace, especially in the hot months
CAO - Eileen's Dream 50g
Huh
One of the few Aromatics i actually like. I dont re-buy this much because i just think there are better blends for me out there, but if you want a recommendation on an aro from someone who's not wholly into them, then this is it. Top 3 easy to get aro's for me. Behind Bat with a Hat and Blood red Moon, hence the 3 stars.
Erinmore - Erinmore Flake 50g
Fruity
Sometimes I really like a non-aro that has flavor like an aro. Wonderful fruit flavor, not too harsh, a pretty nice tobacco to try out.
Savinelli - Doblone d'Oro 100g
Savinelli's best tobacco.
This is good, almost too much happening though. This blend seems confused. Good though.
Davidoff - Flake Medallions 50g
ASHES I SAY!!
This tastes like its already been smoked by somebody. Like ashes in my mouth. Some blends I don't get, this one I straight up despise!
Cornell & Diehl - Orient Express 2oz
Underrated
One of the least talked about tobaccos that needs to be tried. Full flavored, smooth, just really worth trying.
Brebbia - Latakia Flake 50g
Quality! ..But...
Nothing wrong here. Good quality product..but...honestly, there's better Lat flake out there for less money. This is good, and its a best seller..so try it out but no a re-buy for me.
F & K - Bat with a Hat 1.5oz
3-Stars but a SOLID 3-Stars
Smokes like a English cross over but way too mush flavor for that! I don't usually smoke Aro blends but this is on a very short list of ones I like. Tastes of Whiskey fo' breakfast
Samuel Gawith - St. James Flake 250g
All Timer!
This is All-Time for me! I bought a box on a whim and dang, good purchase. Needs to dry more than I let it but I don't mind. Doesn't bit me, I have no complaints on this at all. On my short list for best everyday tobaccos.
Peter Stokkebye - PS403 Luxury Bullseye Flake
No Dry Mouth!
I really enjoy coin cut blends, especially Va/Per. This is the only one (and therefore best) coin cut bulk vaper that doesn't dry my mouth out like a sponge! Sometimes Bulk blends have a rep as "cheap" in price and quality; not this guy. For the $$ worth a shot.
G. L. Pease - Maltese Falcon 2oz
I don't get it
I usually only post positive reviews and this review is'nt really negative but i just dont get it. But! this stuff is revered by many so if you haven't tried it.. whats another $12 tin anyway. Try for yourself.
G. L. Pease - Quiet Nights 8oz
The name says it all!
Dark rich creamy smoke. In the same lane as Penzance(but more flavor forward) Star of the East flake (which I prefer) and Sunset Harbor (the MOST underrated tobacco ever). If you like any of those you'll like this. Worth a try for the hype; it is usually on the best seller list.
Samuel Gawith - Squadron Leader 50g
Quintessential MOTR
To me this is the quintessential Middle of the road English tobacco. Not to strong but has enough flavor to go all day.
Presbyterian - Presbyterian 50g
All Time English
Deserves its spot on the all-time list of great English blends. Not as punchy or impact-full as some other deeper stronger blends. But this is fantastic in the middle of the road category. Hall of Fame blend IMO.
G. L. Pease - Gaslight 2oz
On a Dock Somewhere in England...
Just tar and creosote and shipyards! Too aromatic for me for everyday, but thats the best part. When i want to be transported to Old timey london on the docks, this is the one.
Cult - Blood Red Moon 50g
Best Of Its Kind
If you're not into Aromatics but love the flavor of Cherry this is the one! I've had a LOT of Cherry blends (the only Aro flavor I really like) and this has been the only one I go back to Doesnt bite, tastes great, not gloopy. Best in the orchard!
Bengal Slices - Bengal Slices 1.75oz
Classic
Spicy, smokey, has heritage, just a classic blend. Very similar to Old Ironsides. Funny that i used to get Ironsides because you couldnt get this, now its almost always the opposite. If you like a more oriental forward English...
Seattle Pipe Club - Plum Pudding Special Reserve 4oz
Makes me smile
This blend just makes me happy. Can smoke it whenever wherever, no problems at all. tastes great, as close as you can get to English aromatic without going over the line.
A&C Petersen - Escudo Navy Deluxe 50g
Hall of Famer
Talk about your "hall of fame" tobaccos! Legendary. This is not my favorite Va/Per blend, but it is the blend that got me into vapors. I cant describe all the nuances here, but it is absolutley worth checking out! The reputation is gold here.
G. L. Pease - Stonehenge Flake 2oz
Took Awhile
It took me trying this and then coming back to it awhile later to appreciate this as much as I do. Now, its an any day of the week smoke for me. One of the ones i I can go with when nothing else stands out. Fairly mild and easy to smoke. recommended but it took awhile..
Kramer's - Blend for Cary Grant 50g
Fair to Midlin'
My favorite of the Kramer series tobaccos. Just a nice change of pace tobacco you really don't need to dissect. Middle of the road in all cases but it's a nice road to be on.
Rattray's - Hal O' The Wynd 100g
So Nice!
One of my absolute favorites! Too strong for me to do all day, but what a treat! Not grassy, no bite, just complex enough that I can dwell on it if I want. Very nice!
Peter Stokkebye - PS400 Luxury Navy Flake
Easy Peasy 123sy
For $3!? No brainer to try it, no brainer to always have on hand. Not so strong that I cant go to it again and again when i cant make my mind up about what to smoke.
Rattray's - Brown Clunee 100g
Bread And Butter
This is what I was smoking for a week while trying to find my "all-day" blend. Well guess what?! Found it. Right in front of me the whole time. Not complex, not too strong..just right.
G. L. Pease - Union Square 2oz
Easy Smoker
Really like this! No tongue-bite. Just an easy all-day smoker. Nothing complex, just really solid.
Esoterica - Stonehaven 8oz
All Timer!
Personal favorite here. Very flavorful without being overly complex. Don't need to think about this too much when smokin. Strong enough but never had tongue bite or any "nic- sic". Can smoke this all day but i never would because of the supply issue. Worth a try for sure.
Orlik - Dark Strong Kentucky 50g
Dessert Blend!
What I smoke when I want all day dessert! just molasses/maple goodness. Even a little Anise taste in there. I like this better than the Dark Strong Flake from PH. Nice small good looking flakes here. Very sweet to me, but not in an Aro-choco gloop way. At under $10, for sure worth a go if you like molasses
F & K - Merde de Cheval 1.5oz
Underrated
A good middle of the road English. Good quality smoke! Good for something different when you get tired of heavier blends. Lots of sweet and sour tang! Really like this one
Seattle Pipe Club - Potlatch 2oz
oatmeal, in a good way!
Like oatmeal..in the best possible way. Not overly flavorful, but a wholly satisfying smoke. lots of body and mouth feel IMO. Stocking up on this one.
Cornell & Diehl - Sunset Harbor Flake 2oz
The MOST Underrated Tobacco Ever.
Less spicy than Quiet Nights, more flavorful than Penzance, not so much the "punch in the face" as Star of the East Flake... ranks with any of those in terms of taste and quality. IMO. love this one
