Dunhill - My Mixture BB1938 50g
Too Much Ash
For me this is one of the least favourite blends I own. The tin note is nice and smoky and each bowl starts off with promise, however by mid bowl I always get an acrid taste in my mouth. The only thing I can figure is that because it burns to such a fine white ash I am drawing some of that ash into my mouth. I have tried it several times over the last year and always come to the same conclusion. I have been hesitant to buy other Dunhill blends as I suspect I ma have the same problem.

In my opinion Captain Black Royal is better than the White. The key to its success is its availability. For those who do not like ordering online it is almost guaranteed you can find in most places tobacco is sold. It smokes well and has a good taste. One of my favorite aromatics in my current selection, which includes some C&D blends and some PS.
