Captian Black Original is an aromatic staple in the American OTC pipe tobacco world. It's a reliable, tasty, and easily smoked bleand thats been around for years. It's one of the few aros that tastes like it smells. Its got a great room note and loads and packs easily. It's an easy all day smoke.
Granger - Granger 7oz
Generations of codgers can't be wrong.
Among OTC burey codger blends Granger is one of the best, its been around for ages. It's a smooth nutty bascic burley. It burns a little fast but tastes great all the way down. The rough cut easliy gravity fills into any size bowl aand leaves almost no moisture in the heel. An easy reliable all day smoke.
Carter Hall - Carter Hall 14oz

For many years I struggled to find a tobacco that I liked enough to smoke on a daily basis. Then I smoked Carter Hall, it's a no nonsense American otc burley that you can smoke all day every day. No bite, no heel goop, no ghost, no nonsense. it requires very little if any drying time and tastes the same all the way to the bottom. This is one of my all time favorites.
Lane Limited - HGL
An old friend.
HGL named after Herman G. Lane is on standard of bulk tobacco. In my opinion its the best English Aro on the market. The taste is amazing, with just enough Latakia to balance out the sweetness. The room note is outstanding and it never bites even when pushed a little to hard. Taste remains the same all the way to the bottom and doesn't leave a wet goopy mess in the heel of your pipe.
