Kramer's - Father Dempsey 50g
Perfectly balanced blend
If I had only one English blend from now on, I would be perfectly happy with Father Dempsey. It's full of flavor, perfectly balanced with just a touch of sweetness. Absolutely beautiful blend.

Sir Walter Raleigh - Regular 7oz
Best Codger
Has now become my favorite codger blend. Wonder old school burley flavor and burns great, no need for relights. Pure tobacco goodness with a hint of anise in the background complimenting the burley perfectly.

Toscano - Antico (5 Pack)
I'm in love
By far my favorite Toscano. I smoke a box of these a week and wish I had time for more. Rich, smokey, and full of bold tobacco flavor.

Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening 2oz
Every year
I mainly smoke nonromantic burley blends but do enjoy a few aromatics from time to time. Every year I crack a tin on October 1st and ring in Fall. Taste of wonderful warm maple syrup with high quality leaf that still comes through.

Savinelli - Doblone d'Oro 100g
My desert island
This is as close as I've ever gotten to a desert island blend that so many speak of. I absolutely love this blend. As others said, this is such a perfectly balanced, complex, full flavored blend.

Savinelli - Essenza Cipriota 100g
Odd but good
This one is a bit odd to me. Nice aromatic fruit/wine like essence in the beginning and then latakia comes through more as you smoke through. I'm not a big English/aro fan but this is an enjoyable unique smoke from time to time.

Sutliff - Great Outdoors 1.5oz
Best of
In my opinion, this is the best of this series from Sutliff. Great Outdoors has a wonderful burley flavor profile with hints of anise, wood, nuts and earthiness. I absolutely love this blend.

Granger - Granger 7oz
Good Burley
I love Prince Albert and smoke it regularly. I've been reading raving reviews about Granger for quite a long time but never tried it until recently. I really like the cut and the way it packs and enjoy it very much. I will keep several cans in my cellar, but it does not replace Prince Albert for me.

Cornell & Diehl - Oak Alley 2oz
Outstanding
Oak Alley is a beautiful and sophisticated blend. I love Haunted Bookshop and was looking for a blend in the same vein and food this. It's more complex and full flavor, very woodsy and nutty but Virginias are upfront in the beginning. Just simply an amazing contemplatiive smoke.

John Cotton's - Double Pressed Virginia 1.75oz
Sweet Virginia
This is perfect right from the tin and one of the best Virginias I've had but I do have a couple tins aging that I hope to smoke in 2026. Can't wait to see how it ages.

Peterson - Flake 50g
I love the smell!
I can open a tin and sniff on this stuff all day but not a fan of smoking it. Too light and lacking depth and flavor for my taste. Maybe one day, I’ll learn to appreciate it.

Cornell & Diehl - Haunted Bookshop 8oz
Amazing
I have recently absolutely fell in love with Haunted Bookshop. I have smoked through 8 oz in the past month and ordered 3 more pounds. The taste is woody, musty, sweet, and tangy all in one. It’s incredible!

Peterson - Standard Mixture 50g
Top 5
Standard Mixture is one of my top 5 all time favorite blends. It is a perfectly balanced all day everyday English blend. Nothing here is extreme, just comfortable in every way.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Ennerdale Flake 50g
Lakeland standard
Ennerdale is a beautiful blend. I first smoked this 4 years ago and thought it was the strangest tobacco I ever met but now after trying many several other Lakeland style blends and loving them more and more, I keep coming back to Enmerdale which seems to me is the standard and auch a wonderful smoke.
