GOOD ALL DAY SMOKE
I was looking for a replacement for Dunhill 965 and I found this tobacco and it is out of this world it has a flavor with 19's and a great Latakia flavor at half the price of Dunhill 965 cost it is my go to Everyday smoke
Savinelli - Giubileo d'Oro 50g
Zesty
This tobacco at the start has a little bite, however half way through the bowl is mellows out. I don't remember any Latakia that I would describe as creamy. Its more of a Virginia blend with some Latakia added Its not bad but to mild for my taste.

GOOD ALL DAY SMOKE
I bought 4 oz just to tryand found this tobacco compairable to my farorite Dunhill 965. With the Dunhill going away, i feel this blend is an ok replacement, at half the cost. Its not a campfire tasting blend, like Sqardon Leader, but I get a stoch flavor, the burley to me is not over bearing. It is a lighter Latakia blend, but with the virgina it is a mellow flavor. I just orfered 8oz.
Dunhill - My Mixture 965
My daily smoke
This is in my view the best English blend ever made. The only thing close to it is BB 1938. I have a few pounds of each cellar. I will truly miss them when they are no longer available next year.

I only wish I would of bought bulk. This is my favorite tobacco . I can't stop smoking it.. the blend with Latakia , and brown cav. Make it an all day smoke for me.

As usual I find a wonderful tobacco Burley Virgina mix & aged in Chianti Barrels . And as usual it's out of stock. It seems every time I fall in love with it Tobacco it's out of stock and you never see it again.
Cornell & Diehl - Burley Flake #5 2oz
Very dry tobacco
I bought 5:1 tin s thinking I would like it. I was wrong it dried my mouth out and my tongue swell. I gave you open 2A friends I sold the other four tins. What I find strange is I smoke broccoli in a lot of mixtures and I have no problem and really like it but this stuff is terrible.
Dobie's Four Square - Red Aromatic 1.75oz
Great aromatic
Surprisingly a lot of flavor however I didn't pick up any cherry or vanilla. When you first open it then you need to spread some out and drive it a little bit. It really is a great airmatic with a lot more flavor than I expect it

Great smoking Tobacco
I bought the bag and I just can't get over how adding aging in red chianti wine barrels. What is really nice you can smell a hint of wine,and you can taste just a hint of wine.I am a virginia tobacco lover,and this one is one of 3 that i will always keep on hand.I jarred ^OZ. and I'm going to cake the rest for long time storage,but I'm pretty sure that when my jar runs out,I will be cutting into the crumble cakes early.

Very nice for blending
I use this to blend with other tobaccos. It adds asutle hint of coffee.It's perfect for my blend.
McClelland - Nutty Hazel
Loaded with flavor
I don't know what it is but to me it taste like almonds,and I loved it.
McClelland - Blenders: Latakia 50g
Pure and Campfire sweet.
This Latakia is just what it said,Great for mixing.I smoked it straight and it's heavy with flavor,but I mostly use it for my own blend.

Very Pleasing
It's stronger than you might think,and it very flavorable.It taste like an English, except no Latakia. I ordered 4 ox 2 weeks ago and it's all most gone.I'm ording more.

Surprisingly Deloghtful
I'm not a real Latiki Lover,but I found this tobacco very tastful,It's a very well Balance of Virginia, and Latiki.It has a very sweet room note.I already ordered more.I fell I found the perfect all Day smoke. This is going to be my new go to tobacco.

More flavor Than the 40th year
thr Pericque,really is not over bearing and it brings out the flavoe of the Red Virginia. I reall enjoy it with my pipe club friends,and on my patio.

I found it had some flavor just not enough.I perfer Saint james Woods,sorry to ruin you perfect score.
Mac Baren - Vanilla Cream 3.5oz
Great Stuff
It burns well and it taste like fresh baked bread.I was a little disappointed that I really didn't taste the Vanilla all that much,but a very good smoke.It has great room notes,my wife said it smell like Vanilla.Must be my taste buds.I did have 4 bowls of different Tobacco last night at Pipe club,.So I will try it again before I smoke anything else.I'll try rolling it out maybe I'll get the taste I was hoping for.

I don't care for Burley,but the guy that cleaned all my pipes loves the stuff,so I picked it up for him.I gave it to him last night at Pipe club,and he couldn't stop raving how flavorful it was,and he shared it with 3 other burley lovers and all of them wanted to know where he got it.I told them Smoking pipes.Two of them were on their phones pulling up smoking pipes,and ordering it.they went nuts over this.

I agree for the most part with Big smoke,only didn't get any soapy taste.When you crack it open it smells like cherries,but doesn't taste that way.It has a fruitful taste.I smoke it out of my Cob.

Great smoke
I can't believe nobody reviewed this Tobacco yet.All I could say our fore fathers smoked some great stuff.This is more Virginia,than Latakia blend.To tell you the truth I didn't taste the Latakia at all,but this is one fine smoke,one that you can enjoy all day and not get any bite.

Great Morning smoke
I found that if you roll this tabacco out a little more,it reminded me of the creme that use to be on top of the milk when I was young. It's very light but very creme tasty.I will be keeping this on hand all the time,for smoking with my morning coffee.Oh and one more thing have a slow draw to get the full flavor of this Tobacco.

Mild but nice flavor
This is a mild but flavorful. I find that if you pack your pipe with the black chunks you will get the bourbon flavor .If you pack it with mostly the ribbon tobacco you get a vanilla flavor.Neither are over bering. It burn very cool and I love it in the morning with mostly the ribbon tobacco. In the evening ,or afternoon I pack a lot of the black pieces,and i get mostly the Bourbon flavor.all in all it's a great smoking, mild flavorful Smoke. I will definitely order more. I did notice that the tin I got was packed in 2001.

This is not the same Tobacco, I thought it was
A friend gave me a Bowl at our pipe club.I couldn't believe how great it was.The next day I was still thinking about it. I called a friend that works at the tobacco store,and asked if he could bring me a half pound after work and he did.I had a hell of a toothache on Sat,so about 2 pm I turned on my turntable and put some paul simon on and starting drinking Woodworth reserve,and smoking NOT this blend. I smoke and drank until 10 pm.I decided to see if smoking pipes carried it,and I was shocked when I read the description...Turns out that 8 oz I got from my friend came from a B&M store where they blend it himself.this stuff is not the same it's terrible.

What a great find
I bought this just to see what the cube was all about. I wasn't expecting the experience I got when I smoke the first bowl.It was a little moist,so I figured I'd probably have to re-lit a few times.I was wrong.I lit it once and it smoked all the way to the bottom of my pipe,I kept wanting more but all that was left was ash.the flavor is out of this world,It is loaded with a lot of flavor,I couldn't pick out just one it's really got a lot of wonderful flavors.It's mild but loaded with great flavor.I am so happy I gave it a try,and the box is made out of wood.I love tryig new tabacco.With 23 different tabaccos in it,you might think you would get toungue bite,but there was no bite,just a great smoke.I will definitely will be re-ordering this again.

Terrible Tobacco
That tang some people are referring to is tongue Bite.This Tobacco has no taste whatsoever. I have been smoking piper for quit awhile now,and if you gave a bowl of this to a newbie,he would have tongue Bite for a week.I have 4 Savinelli pipes. I love them all but this stuff taste like cigar Tobacco,if I had to say it had any taste.They should stick to pipes.I gave the whole tin away,after smoking it 3 times. Not good in the AM,or Evening Will a Good Bourbon. I gave it every chance i could but I'm extremely disappointed. I think I'll stop using Smoking pipes altogether.

Not very Good
I took a chance on this and ordered 2 tins,I gave one to a friend for Christmas.He opened his and i had a bowl with him this morning.It smells like perfume,and the bad thing is it taste like perfume.He seems to like it,but i sure don't.I can't not figure out why it tast like perfume.I read all the discription of what it's made of,and it sounded like something i would enjoy.I was definately wrong.

Such a great little Tobacco saver
I bought 5 of these and I keep one in my pouch,and every Tobacco I have opened. I use distilled water,because Arizona water has a ton of lime in it.I don't soak them in a bowl I simply cup my hand and slowly pour the water over the holes and when it stops gurgling,I know is full.Great little device. OK I did it your way this time,and submerged them in a bowl of distilled water.

It's number one in North America
I started smoking a pipe and only pipes 4 years ago.I started with this Tobacco.I smoked it everyday for 3 years,then I started trying others.I love Germains med flake,but you can't get it in the USA.I love Blackpool but same thing can't get it in USA.So I think I'm headed back to lane 1-Q.Seems the first Tabacoo I smoked was the best one.I do like some english once in awhile.
Esoterica - Stonehaven 2oz
Not that great
I bought a tin of this at my Favorate B&M store,after a friend said it was better than blackpool.It's not very good,hard to rub out,really dry,smokes ok,but not a whole lot of flavor.I slow draw and some people said if you slow draw that you will get a creme taste.I slow draw everything,and I didn't get any creme flavor,It does have some flavor, so little I can't put my finger on it.I really don't know what all the hype is about,than again I hate Burley, if you like Burley than you might like this blend.

Very nice Virginia Flake
My favorite Medium flake tobacco is Germains Medium Flake,but good luck finding it.This blend is very nice ,no bite,even burn,smokes all the way with very little relites.It has a pleasant after taste of Aprocots.Which is really the main difference between this blend and Germains Medium Flake.the nice thing about this blend it's great tasting and it available.The other plus is the price. I going to go have a bowl right now,just talking about it makes me want to smoke it.

A great mixture,and a wonderful smoke
I bought this because I like his black point,and the blend has a wonderful mixture of Red, Orange and bright Virginia tobaccos, exotic Oriental leaf,I never had a Tobacco with Orange Virginia,so i thought I'd give it a try.I opened the can and smelled it,and usually I do that with all my Tobacco,however I kept smelling it for over 5 minutes,i knew right then i had something special.This Tobacco did not disappoint me. It's not to wet and it burns very slow. I only had to lite my pipe once.So far i had 3 bowls of it and each one is great.However if your looking for strong Perique,this Tobacco may not be for you.ThisTobacco can be smoked all day.I like english blends but this Virginia blend is a nice break from Latakia Blends.The room notes is also great,so I'm told by my wife.
McClelland - Craftsbury: Frog Morton's Cellar 100g
Best in the Frog line
I'm still a novice,been smoking pipes for 4 years.I have smoked a lot of the Cellar,and it is the best i the line as far as I'm concerned.The Flavor has no sign of any whisky.It does have a great tasting of Latiki ,( I feel the block of wood just takes up space that without it you would get more Tobacco).It smokes well but to get all the flavor from it you have to draw lightly.I have since moved on to GL Pease Blackpoint.It's a lot more flavor. I will say that cellar does burn well and is somewhat slow burning.
Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - 1982 Centennial Blend 1.4oz
A wonderful find
I just hope it sticks around awhile,well It is a slow burning ,full tasting Virginia Blend. It is second only to Germain's Medium flake.Which in the USA is almost impossible to get.This Tobacco I received two days ago,and yesterday I thought I'd give it a go,well after the first pipe all I wanted was another pipe full,and I never smoke two pipes in a row.This is a great blend.
Germain - Medium Flake 50g
Nothing else even comes close
I got a hold of 10 tins of this,and couldn't get myself to smoke anything else,I finally stopped and kept 2 tins for special occasions. It is pure Virginia tobaccos,and nothing added,but it leaves a wonderful after taste of honey.I have been searching for something that comes close to this,and the closest is 4th Generation 1982.Really though this is the Holy Grail if you like Virginia blends.Good luck finding it.

NOT VERY GOOD
I had high hopes for this Tobacco but it didn't live up to the hype. It smelled like Bourbon,so I had some high hopes,but after I lit the pipe, Nothing,no flavor,no room notes,and the real let down no real taste.I did notice that it was Tinned on October 1st 2015,so I did buy 2 tins,I'm going to cellar one for a year and see if that helps..Otherwise it was a waste of a few Dollars.

Disapointing
I didn't care for all the work that was needed to make it smokable.I like a lot of flake tobacco.My favorite is Germains Medium flake. It's impossible to find, I only have two tins of it left.Someone recommended this as an alternative,not even close. it's hard to lite,room notes are terrible,taste is not very good.I gave it away to a friend,he seems to like it,so it just might not fit my taste.

I can see why this is out of stock.I bough mine about 6 months ago,and it's a great Bag. I have some pretty big pipes,such as my Winslow,and some bigger.This bag carries them well.I love the outside pouch,it closes with magnets.I got this bad for 179 dollars,and it was worth every penny.I can't go to a cigar,pipe store without some one asking me about my pouch.I love the fact that it's quality leather.It is easy to keep clean.

Different Kind of Blend
I ordered a pound of this,and I still have about 4 oz left. I find this blend a little overbearing.It does have a somewhat sweetness to it.I agree with others that this blend is more suited for after a large Dinner,later i the day.It burns well not to hot and doesn't bite.

VERY FINE TASTING
I GOT A TIN OF THIS FOR A GIFT,AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT.WHEN I FIRST OPENED THE TIN I SWEAR I SMELLED KETUP. I TRYED IT ANYWAY,AND WAS SO DELITED.I HAVE 2 POUNDS OF TABACCO .SO I FIGURED I WOULD PROBLY PUT THIS ON THE SHELF FOR AWHILE.BOY WAS I WRONG,EVERYTIME I GO FOR MY PIPE I END UP SMOKING THIS TABACCO.IT HAS A FLAVOR,WITH A WONDERFUL AFTER TASTE.I CAN'T SAY I TASTED VANILLA BUT I DID ENJOY THE FLAVOR,IT BURNS REAL NICE, AND NEEDS VERY FEW RELIGHTS,I CAN'T STOP SMOKING IT.I'M ALL READY ON MY SECOND TIN.I NEED TO SMOKE MY OTHER STUFF,BUT THIS HAS BECOME MY FAVORITE SMOKE.

WHAT A NICE SUPRISE
I bought this Tobacco just to fill an order for over 100 dollars to get free shipping.I couldn't believe how great tasting this mixture was.I found it to be strong enough, but not over bearing. I tastes strong notes of nuts.I'm almost out of it right now and I'm thinking of ordering more.Great Mixture.
8 Advanced Pipe Smoking Techniques: Have You Learned Everything ?- ► I've been using the draw smoke with my nose, you get the real flavor of the tobacco that way. The one thing that wasn't mentioned in the article is that when you strong with your nose you have to let a little bit out through the pipe that keeps the pipe lit and a gurgling gone and cooler. Then after doing that for five times you'll notice you have a mouthful smoke which you'll have to blow out. I've been using this method for about 5 years, I get flavor from tobacco that other people never get.
