Nice, but there's better
Very little bite. It is smooth, but the flavor profile is quite linear and monochromatic. There is little to no complexity. I do not intend to purchase another tin. Mac Baren HH Pure VA is much better & of higher quality.

Lovely flavor for sipping only
This blend has a terrific taste, if you possess the self-control to only sip it. If you're a heavy puffer, which I typically practice, you might want to seek another Virginia. Heavy puffers will endure a bite like a Nile crocodile with this blend.

Mac Baren - HH Balkan Blend 3.5oz
A real tongue tickler
As Briscoe Darling would say, this tobacco really "twangs my buds." It's better than Vintage Syrian & has a subtle sweetness which I enjoy immensely.

Simply delicious
I can hardly label myself a tobacco connoisseur, therefore, I'll be terse. I simply love this tobacco. It is one of the most delicious Virginias on the retrohale that I have ever smoked. I know of no better way to say it's great than by stating I own many pounds of it tucked away in half gallon jars and aging nicely for years to come.

Fantastic!
I love this tasty, smoky blend. It's very similar in flavor and appearance to Drew Estate Meat Pie, but Commonwealth is slightly less spicy. It's not complex; it's simply deliciously satisfying and a top favorite of mine. I'll say it's now #2 in my rotation.

This pouch is exceptional & outstanding. The leather is beautiful and very supple; possibly the softest leather I've ever felt. The lining is strong and sturdy & odor-free. The stitching is perfect as well as strong. I will certainly be purchasing Columbus products in the future.
