Cornell & Diehl - Bayou Night 2oz
Very Nice!
I've been on a quest to find a suitable replacement for my beloved and no longer available McClelland St. James Wood. While this isn't that, I enjoyed my first bowl tonight and it was delightful. In fact, its flavor reminded of another favorite, the nearly extinct Elizabethan Blend from Dunhill. One could argue that this what the Elizabethan Blend wants to be when it grows up. It hits all the right notes for me, the latakia elements really balance the Virginias and the perique ties it all together. This is definitely a strong blend and makes for a nice after dinner smoke with a nightcap of your favorite scotch. I look forward to an afternoon meditative smoke with this blend. Great work C&D!
