Cornell & Diehl - Briar Fox 16oz
For those who "don't get it"
I had a great dislike for this tobacco at first. It gave me terrible tongue burn, but having bought 2lb of the stuff I persisted with it and it grew on me. Now I simply can't get enough. No other tobacco comes close to the rich smoothness and flavour of C&D Briar Fox. I've just ordered 2lb more so I can pull an aged pack out of my stash.
Mac Baren - The Cube 16oz
Blerch!
Very much reminiscent of Reiner Professional and just as singularly unsatisfying. Not to much unlike how smoking cheap perfume would probably taste, with an equally rotten aftertaste.
Peterson - Sherlock Holmes 16oz
Top, all-day smoker
This is a lovely tobacco. Sweet with a slight note of fruit, and peppery on the nose. A great all-day smoker that burns down to the bottom of the bowl.
Mac Baren - HH Old Dark Fired 3.5oz
Very nice. Satisfying.
I bought ten tins of this on the off chance the good reviews were right. I'm glad I bought so much. A very nice, satisfying smoke, a fine blend by any account. Even better, it smoked well all the way down to the meerschaum. No waste.
Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Scotch Flake
5 Star tobacco
Well worth a try if you're looking for something full-bodied, rich and sweet. I keep a large bag of this on hand for when I fancy a nice change from my two other favourites, Gawith Hoggarth brown twist, and Seattle Pipe Club plum pudding.
Seattle Pipe Club - Plum Pudding
Beatiful toboacco blend
On the lighter side of a heavy case, it is rich, somewhat strong, and highly flavourful. This is one of my favourite blends. Great to smoke in the late afternoon or evening. It's right up there, second only to Gawith Hoggarth brown twist. Don't be fooled by the "English blend lover" comment below; this is nothing like an English blend, even though it contains latakia and orientals.

Oh my goodness!
Oh my, what a lovely, strong flavourful tobacco. I bought 32oz on a risk and was so happy with it I ordered 32oz more not five minutes after it was delivered to my door and before I'd finished the first bowl. It has a wonderful aroma, and it is strong, *faintly* reminscent of a top quality cigar . I am 100% chuffed with this product and I'll only buy this and Seattle Pipe Club's Plum Pudding from now on. 10 out of 10.
