Peter Stokkebye - PS400 Luxury Navy Flake
Daily favorite
Straight forward navy flake, easy to run out and smokes dry to the bottom. One of my favorites and definitely a daily smoke for me Price is good, this blend cellars very well. Great fresh, even better with some age. Highly recommend

I love this tobac. I have been smoking this for years. It has many reviews where others try to explain the “top” flavor. Very simple. It’s floral. There IS a pinch of Lakeland style flavor here no doubt about it
Old Dominion - Laughing King
Look out MM
Was not sure what I’d get with this pipe, from the first light it was sweet, no burning off of any man made materials. This pipe smoked perfect from the first light. The stem, one you get used to it is actually more comfortable than a regular stem. I would suggest this one though as I bought a Virginia planter too and it looks like a third grader made it.
Iwan Ries - Three Star Blue 7oz
Nice!
This is a wonderful tobacco, the Latakia is just enough to add some body but not overpowering, the smell according to the wife is of baking cookies and is indoor approved!
Cornell & Diehl - Nutty Irishman 2oz
Tasty
Not usually a fan of aromatics but this one is quite pleasant tasting. A good morning smoke with coffee.
Home Fragrance - Lampe Berger Cube Blue Lamp
Very nice!
I’ve had my eye on these but was not sure. Glad I bought one, I got the grapefruit and it is amazing, very strong. You only light it for two minutes to heat up the diffuser and then blow out and it smells strong for a long time. Highly recommend, better than candles
Orlik - Golden Sliced 50g
Hmmmm....
Quickly becoming my go to morning smoke. Bright and brassy, satisfying smoke.
Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Rich Dark Honeydew
Hmmmmm.......
I like it.the lakeland essence isn’t so punch you out, this stuff is bumping. Mild sweet honey taste, can’t really taste maple per say, but it is a really tasty blend. I love lakelands but if you don’t want the heavy floral of say graspers, give this one a try. Good for Lakeland virgins I would say. All and all I’ll probably put up some of this in my cellar
Cornell & Diehl - New Market
Hmmmmmm......
I’ll compare this to my all time favorite C&D, Gentleman Caller because it’s a deer tounge blend. While gent caller is very burley forward and smooth, this blend is definitely Virginia forward. Sharp and brassy on first light, this one needs to be smoked slow, maybe in a smaller bowl. As the blend smokes down the deertounge and cavendish help to mellow this blend a tad. All in all, it’s not gentleman caller but for a bulk deertounge blend I believe this one will cellar nicely
Mac Baren - HH Old Dark Fired 1.75oz
Better with age
At first I was not a fan of this tobacco so I stuck it at the bottom of my jar bin, five years later, I thought I’d give it another whirl. Pleasantly surprised with what some age will do for this blend, I actually can’t stop smoking it now. No hype this is good tobacco.
Peterson - Founders Choice 100g
Interesting
I am not usually a fan of aromatics but I have to say this is high quality tobacco. On opening the tin the sweet aroma hits you in the face right of and the beautiful cube cut tobacco is the perfect moisture for smoking. I don’t agree with rubbing this out as the cube cut burns slow and even without a lot of bloom and burns down to a clean finish. And unlike other aromatics this did not burn my tongue. I highly recommend this tobacco and I will be reordering this in the future.
Cornell & Diehl - Kajun Kake 2oz
Strong.
This is a beautiful crumble cake, the taste is fantastic for the first quarter of the bowl then the nic will hit you, be careful if you are sensitive because this tobacco gets strong.
Cornell & Diehl - Sunday Picnic 2oz
Nice va/per
When I opened the tin I was met with the pleasant smell off fresh cut hay in a barn loft. Sweet and grassy. Beautiful looking flakes are good for fold and stuff or rub out nicely. The taste is Sweet with a little sour on the end. Not bad at all.
Cornell & Diehl - Old Joe Krantz White Label 2oz
Not the best.
Not a fan of this one, I had different ideas what it would taste like by the description, but on opening the tin the smell tastes like the smoke. As stated above, not the best.
Cornell & Diehl - Black Frigate 2oz
A nice Latakia blend
If you enjoy blockade runner give this a try, very good with your morning cup. Not a smack you in the face blend, but smooth all around.
Cornell & Diehl - After Hours Flake 2oz
Pleasent
Not my favorite C&D but it still has nice flavor. Definitely a full bodied smoke, goes well with coffee.
Cornell & Diehl - Blockade Runner 8oz
Nice
This has quickly turned into my second favorite tobacco from C&D. If you are looking for a great tasting wonderful burning tobacco you need to try this one.
Rattray's - 40 Virginia 100g
Wonderful virginia
This is a very pleasing Virginia, I find myself reaching for this in the mornings as the taste is mellow and sweet. If you are a fan of Dunhill Virginia, give this. Try
Cornell & Diehl - Engine #382 2oz
Very nice
If they ever stop making my favorite, gentleman caller, this is a comparable substitute. Not quite as sweet as GC but close.
Cornell & Diehl - Gentleman Caller 8oz
All day smoke
I cannot say more for this tobacco. It is awesome stuff, no bite, no fuss, LOVE my deertounge. If you haven’t tried a blend like this, then this is the blend to try.
Stands & Pouches - Peterson Avoca Tobacco Box Pouch
Nice pouch
Great wallet size tobacco pouch, holds a good amount of tobacco for the size, seems to be good quality leather and makes filling on the go a breeze. The only concern I have for it in the future is I’ve seen pictures where the lining gets deteriorated. I think it will be better to store tobaccos on the dryer side, staying away from Aros, and only putting in what you would smoke in a day.
Stands & Pouches - 1790 English Tobacco Box Copper with Eagle
Great little tin!
Love my copper tin, perfect for carrying matches, Just get some strike anywheres and cut a bit of sandpaper and attach to the top of the lid. You will have to invest in brasso if you want to keep it shiny though, as it will patina rather quickly.
Cleaners & Cleaning Supplies - B. J. Long Regular Tapered Pipe Cleaners (100 pack)
Good cleaners
These are great cleaners for the price. I prefer the tapered, I feel they absorb more moisture
McClelland - 221-B Series: Honeydew 50g
One of my favorite McClelland blends
A very good all day smoking tobacco. I make sure to buy a couple of tins a month for cellar.
Peterson - 3 P's Peterson's Perfect Plug 50g
Love this plug!
Dark, dense and tasty. A bit hard to prep as it is so thick but the flavor is amazing, and not as strong as you would think looking at it.
Peter Stokkebye - PS400 Luxury Navy Flake
Great navy cut flake
This is by far my go to tobac. I never have to second guess a bowl of this, easy to fold and stuff and smokes great.
Dunhill - Ready Rubbed 50g
Good tobacco
This is a very easy all day smoke. No bite good burn, and the strength won't knock you out.
Cornell & Diehl - Briar Fox 2oz
Ehh.
Not mind blowing. A easy smoking tobacco mixture. Good with coffee in the morning. Starts to have a cigarette taste towards the bottom. All in all not bad though.
Peter Stokkebye - PS402 Luxury Twist Flake
Awsome
I love this tobac. I buy it by the pound and it's a go to smoke for me. The flake is easy to fold and stuff and has a light vanilla taste although not strong enough to overpower the virginias. Would recommend this tobac to aromatic smokers who want to branch out to virginias.
Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Ennerdale Flake
Nice
This is Grasmere light. A very nice floral flake with less of the flower punch of grasmere. I fully recommend this tobac to anyone that wants to try something different. A nice change of pace, and a definite palate cleanser.
Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Grasmere Flake
Wonderful
First floral, and I have to say that it is a unique smoking experience. I can smoke this all day and I will most definitely be ordering this by the pound from now on.
