Samuel Gawith - Full Virginia Flake 250g
Favorite Tobacco
I have tried a great many very fine tobaccos over 20+ years. This is easily my absolute favorite smoke, quite often. Further, this is an exceptionally rich, full flavored VA tobacco, expertly and very consistently crafted. It's also VERY satisfying, with a welcome Nicotine kick and no bite, ever. Frankly, I used to be a very full-flavored maduro cigar freak; not anymore. Also, it's well worth noting that this VA tobacco ages extremely well and is available to buy (when in stock) in bulk. --Enjoy.
Cornell & Diehl - Habana Daydream 8oz
Phenominal Blend w/a Kick!
The sweet and spicy Va/Per shines through the black Cavendish, Latakia, and cigar leaf mix, as a slightly spicy-sweet, hearty, and EXTREMELY satisfying whole; a serious relaxation blend! As a hard-core cigar smoker, seeing cigar leaf in this was what first drew me to this pipe tobacco. That said, I still can't really tell that cigar leaf was indeed added to this pipe blend; it doesn't seem to taste at all like a cigar, let alone a Cuban one. However, it makes up for that with a power punch: In a large-bowl'd Meerschaum pipe, the effect is about equal to having a radical lobotomy; albeit a very tranquil, blissfully enjoyable, lobotomy. Thus, Habana Daydream is best purchased by the 8oz. unit, since this will likely become a regular favorite; it ages extremely well.
