Peterson - Old Dublin 50g
Old is good!
Great mixture. Smokes cool. Lots of flavor. Wonderful room note. Well done, Peterson!

St. Bruno - Ready Rubbed 1.75oz
Whatever they're doing, hope they keep it up.
St. Bruno ready-rubbed is quite something. Been reading reviews for some time. Decided to take the plunge. A swan dive into some wonderful tobacco flavor. Have read some folks call the underlying nuance seems "perfumey" or "soapy".. but, neither of those fit the bill for myself. I'm getting a base of the rich dark-fired Kentucky and sweetness of Virginas.. and whatever the subtle note is, its just the right amount to bring it all home. Burns much better than expected, for the moisture content. Leaving a pleasant after-taste. Going into the rotation without a 2nd thought.

Arturo Fuente - Emperador
OMG!!
These cigars are a lovely smoke. Well balances with some nice spice that burn evenly leaving a wonderfully beautiful gray ash. Full enough body yet, gentle enough to not knock you down. This stick stays true to the Arturo Fuente brand and has everything one could hope for without braking the bank. Love at first puff and will be purchasing a box of these to enjoy whenever, on a regular basis. Excellent smoke. Highly recommended.

Dan Tobacco - Black Velvet 50g
Love it!
One of the best blends I have ever had the luxurious pleasure of enjoying. A true desert island blend that is a rotation worthy smoke. Tin note is wonderful and the smoking experience is equally good, if not better. Highly recommended.

Lane Limited - Crown Achievement 1.75oz
Funky Finish & Aftertaste
I tried this once a few years ago in bulk. Great stuff. Just tried it for the 2nd time in the tin.. good about 3/4 the way down. Left a taste in my mouth that I consider as less than pleasing. Almost chemically. A disappointment, indeed. A Balkan that will surely not be in my rotation.

Hearth & Home - Black House 1.75oz
Holy Smoke! Desert Island Blend.
A superb blend. Nice generous amount of latakia yet, not overwhelming. Very close to BS 759 without the tiny 'crystals' noticeable in visual inspection. Easily won a place in my rotation. Mr. Oulette has done it again. 759 throw-down or not.. this one stands on its own.

Lane Limited - Foundry 1.75oz
Excellent Blend!
A truly fine and luxurious blend, made up of top-grade components with a subtle sweetness and clean finish. A keeper.

Baccarat - Churchill
Superb Cigar
Very smooth, even burning, lovely ash, mild cigar with lots of flavor, subtle spiciness. Great all-day smoke.

Dunhill - Three Year Matured 50g
Yum!
This is comprised of really high quality tobaccos.. and perhaps, a delicate spray of fruit-essence. Beyond delightful. And miles away from the 2007 (and a few yrs prior) rendition. Thank God those of whom are in charge have finally obtained their wits, once again. This version is a winner.

Davidoff - English Mixture 50g
Worse than Danis Mixture
This is pure horse droppings. Sadly, Dunhill has me spoiled rotten. They're going away.. while this Davidoff thing is still pushing sub-standard tobacco.
