G. L. Pease - Quiet Nights 2oz
One of the Best
I fell in love with this blend with my first bowl. Orientals, perique, latakia and virginas are in perfect harmony. Wonderful flavours. Rich, sweet, complex, robust. Overall, amazing.
Peterson - Irish Flake 50g
Not for Me
I am a fan of DFK blends and this blend is enjoyable at the beginning. However, this blend has a kick that hits about 5 minutes into the smoke and continues to kick the rest of the way through the bowl. I have smoked several tins of this blend over the past year and it always leaves me feeling noxious. Give me Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong Flake or Mac Baren HH Bold Kentucky or even Johnny Cotton's Double Pressed Kentucky. I will happily leave Peterson Irish Flake for those who appreciate it's strength.
Hearth & Home - Magnum Opus 1.75oz
Excellent Yenidje
For years, one of my favourite tobaccos was Yenidje Highlander by McClelland's, which is no longer available. So, I was thrilled to discover that Hearth and Home (H&H) offers a blend that, while it is not 100% Yenidje, promised to answer my craving for Yenidje. And, having smoked several tins of Magnum Opus, I can say that I have not been disappointed. While Magnum Opus is not McClelland's Yenidje Highlander (nor did I expect it be) it is an awesome tobacco by its own right. I will have tins of H&H Magnum Opus in my tobacco stock at all times. H&H offers another blend with Yenije (WhiteKnight), and while I do enjoy WhiteKnight as well, Magnum Opus is my favourite. Both blends are highly recommended and worth a try.
Dan Tobacco - Old Ironsides 50g
Bold Latakia
This is a wonderful latakia blend. The latakia is boldly upfront. It is very prominent in the tin note and when lit there is no doubt of its presence. The Orientals are almost overpowered by the Latakia but they do come through as an undernote. All in all, a very enjoyable and pleasant blend.
Mac Baren - Golden Extra
Dependable All Day Smoke
As other reviewers have stated, this is a dependable all day Burley. Well worth having in a tobacco rotation.
Peterson - De Luxe Navy Rolls 50g
Highly Recommended
This is a fantastic blend. It is up there with Escudo and Reiner Blend No. 71. All three of which are favourites of mine and have been for years. Highly recommended.
Peterson - University Flake 50g
Wonderful Burley
Delicious blend. Burley is there from the first light however it really kicks-in about halfway through the bowl with notes of yeasty fresh bread. This continues right though to the end of the bowl. Notes of plum mingle with the flavours of the Burley throughout the smoke but balance is maintained throughout. Wonderful!!

Fantastic blend. I understand now why this tobacco is never in stock. Will pick up several tins whenever it is available at SP.
Three Nuns - Three Nuns 1.75oz
Dependable DFK Blend
Three Nuns is an old DFK standby. I always have a few tins tucked away. Always a comfort to know I have a few tins tin on-hand. Never disappointing.
Reiner - Blend No. 71 100g
One of the best VaPers!!!
Great VaPer. The Burley adds some weight. Excellent all round tobacco. As another reviewer noted, Reiner Blend No. 71 is an excellent reference point for other VaPer. There are always two or three tins of this tobacco in my stock. I never wish to find myself without. :)
Mac Baren - HH Burley Flake 3.5oz
Wonderful
Excellent blend. Burley is fantastic from the first light but at about a third of the way in the bowl the Burley really starts to kickin with a very pronounced yeasty breadiness which continues right through to the end of the bowl. Wonderful.
Mac Baren - HH Old Dark Fired 3.5oz
Outstanding DFK
ODF has been a regular companion of mine for the past 12 or so years. It will no doubt continue to be a trusted companion moving into the future. Mac Baren's HH line has several blends that are regulars for this particular piper. (ODF, Latakia Flake, Burley Flake).

Disappointing - Mild
Tried this blend after reading several reviews. Unfortunately, after having smoked 100g of this blend I determined that my experience with the blend does not match the expectations. The blend rather mild. There is a pleasant nuttiness to the blend however the tobacco is so mild that it leaves an experienced smoker looking for satisfaction elsewhere because it is not being attained here. Not recommended.

Great Complexity
Really enjoy this blend. Great at the beginning of the bowl - fantastic by the end. I could easily smoke this blend all day.

Good Steady Tobacco
This blend grew on my as I smoked the first tin. To me the blend is not very complex however that does not mean that it is bad. Simply put, Cumberland is a just a good, solid tobacco that is steady throughout the smoke. Definitely worth having a few tins on hand.

Excellent DFK
Excellent DFK. There can be a bit of a nic kick from this blend but still an enjoyable smoke. I find that JackKnife Plug is a great late evening smoke.

This is an excellent Balkan blend. Right up there with Levant Mixture. I plan to always have several tins of Trafalgar and Levant Mixture in stock. Fabulous tobaccos!!

Drucquer & Sons - Blairgowrie 100g
Not a Favourite
Didn't mind this blend however I tried it after Trafalgar and Levant Mixture. Balirgowrie is certainly worth a try, however, if asked to rank the three blends (Trafalgar, Levant Mixture and Blairgowrie), Levant Mixture and Trafalgar would be 1st and 2nd, respectively, with Blairgowrie coming in 3rd. Blairgowrie is a blend that I will be happy to pickup occasionally for a change of pace, however I do not feel a need to stock my tobacco cellar with the stuff. Cellar space that will be better utilized by Trafalgar and Levant Mixture.
