Iwan Ries - Three Star Blue 7oz
Every day smoke
This is good stuff. I am going to put this in my daily all day smoke category. If you are looking for an all day blend give this one a try. It packs well, lights easy, no bite, good taste and room note.

Daughters & Ryan - London Dock 50g
give it a try, it will please
I remember seeing this as a kid in the shop when I went with my dad. He was a CB smoker. This is better, taste and room note. I wish they would offer it in bulk form. I have had several positive comments on it when I'm out smoking this blend. It has a place in my monthly rotation.

Comoy's - Cask No.11
Good Mid Lat Blend
This is a good medium lat blend. Plenty of flavor, begins lat heavy but mellow out in a minute or two. The wife doesn't mind the room note, so that's a plus for this one. Moisture was about right, re-lights minimal. I could easily be an everyday smoke.

McClelland - Ashton Revival: Sovereign 50g
Overlooked blend
I guess this one gets overlooked in their line up. It shouldn't be. This one is a very fine Lat blend. It has all the smoky flavor that you want, with the others in support. I was really surprised that no one had reviewed it. If your on the fence get it, you won't be sorry. This makes a good end of the day smoke, relax with it and an adult beverage of the distilled type.

F & K - Black Bayou Mist
Good find.
This one I tried on a whim, glad I did. This blend makes a perfect morning smoke with black coffee. Smokes cool, burns good, very few if any re-lights. Packs good. Burns exceptionally well in a tall short stemmed billiard. I found it to have a full flavor in my Sav Giaus 101 w/ balsa made the differance. If they have it in stock give it a try.

Peter Stokkebye - PS41 Cube Cut
Different
The cube cut is different. Verdict is still out on it. The flavor is good. It has a tendency to pack to tight. Also had to relight more than I thought I should. I tried this blend in several pipes, cob and briar. For me it did not like tall skinny bowls, maybe just me. I got 4oz to play with. Again the taste is very good, I'm not ready to give up on it yet.

Newminster - No.306 English Orient
Fantastic Blend
This has become one of my favorites. Great taste, No bite. Burns and packs good, no goop in bowl. Fine Lat flavor without being over board, other tobaccos come through. This one is very good for an all day smoke. I'm glade I bought 8oz, I will reorder this one.

Sail - Aromatic (Green) 1.5oz
Good smoke
This could be a good all day smoke. Pouch note is nice. About right on moisture level. Can just smell the Lat, not taste it. A little gurgle, but all aros do. No bite. Was really surprised by this one. I'll keep this one around.

Newminster - No.80 Norway Pipe Cut
Good Blend
A good solid blend. Nice tin note, mild room note, good taste. It can bite, take it easy and it's mellow. The Turk tickles the tongue on a slow draw, nice! It seems dry but packs and burns good. Lightly tamp often. I like it.

Smoker's Pride - Black Cavendish 12oz
Not bad
This stuff feels very wet out of the bag. Pack it loose in your bowl and it will burn pretty good. It taste like surprisingly good, mild vanilla flavor. I like this better than most CB mixes, cheaper too. I will take and mix up to 1/2 with Carter Hall and have a really nice blend that does not bother anyone else in the room, most really like it. Blended this way it makes a great all day smoke. For the price you really can't go wrong trying this one.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Ennerdale Flake 50g
Urinal cake and Grandmaw's perfume
That 'bout sums this vile stuff up. It will flat out haunt a pipe forever. Try in a cheap cob first. I will say that the tin note and taste are the same. I have shared this with several others with the same results, after they curse me first. Iwill not condemn those that like this stuff but will say that I remember my experience every time I see a urinal cake.

Carter Hall - Carter Hall 14oz
Comfort food of pipe tobacco
This is my "comfort food" of all pipe tobaccos. My go to smoke any time. It burns good, tastes good, no complaints in the room, what more do you need. Like most pipe smokers I try a lot of different blends, some good some not so good. At the end of the day when all I want to do is just relax and put everything in neutral for a while this is what I go to. Uncomplicated.

Sutliff - B21 Black Spice
better than average
Most aros are either over the top are lacking, this one is a good balance. The tin note was very good, dry it some before packing. It did burn hot for me, may cut it some with some CH to cool it down a bit. Flavor was nice and smooth, did get some bite at the end. Good room.

Sutliff - Count Pulaski
Good Blend
The tin note is like leather, old books, and camp fire all rolled together. It is about right on moisture. Burns pretty good after it's lite. This is a full flavor smoke, great tasting smoke. The only drawback for me with it is the wife can't stand it. She was the same with GL Pease Gaslight, which this is very close to. If you don't want to mess with the plug get this one. It's a keeper.

Sutliff - Maple Street 1.5oz
Yes Please!
I recieved this as a free sample and glad I did. This will be a keeper. Good taste, burned well, no bite, nice room note (wife likes it). Just right out of the tin, no drying. A great combination with a Savinelli Gaius 101. Will be ordering this again.

Sutliff - B34 - Sacher Torte
Tasty Sweet
This stuff is very sweet, but good. Smoke it slow, it will start to bite if you go fast. It does have a really good room note. Did not need any drying time. Burned good, little waste.
