Peter Stokkebye - PS306 English Oriental Supreme
Outstanding
Phenomenal blends. While very flavorful and rich it's actually very smooth and not strong. It's tangy, tart, sweet and smoky all at once. Going to buy a pound or two.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Kendal Kentucky
Tasty and Strong.
Great DFK. Easy to pack, easy to keep lit and smoke. Full flavored and strong. It's tangy and tart and has that deep smokiness. Not an all day puffer as I think it would be overpowering, but a bowl of it is delicious.

Cornell & Diehl - Americana 2oz
Comfortable
I tend to like English blends as my staple but almost equally enjoy burley blends. I'm a fan of Pegasus and this could be a runner up if that isn't available ever. It's one of those blends that isn't spectacular. Just something with a mild, smooth flavor that you can puff on all day long. Solid Burley blend with the cavendish cooling it down and the Virginia and Latakia providing a subtle and barely perceptible interesting note. Does lean more towards an English than a Burly but in a quiet way.

Cornell & Diehl - Bailey's Front Porch 2oz
Comfortable
I pick this stuff up by the pound. It's my meat and potatoes all day smoke. It's not going to knock your socks off nor is it going to wow you with a myriad of flavors. It's just a good, mild, English blend. Very well behaved and very well balanced. No tobacco overpowers the others. They all just work together nicely.

Cornell & Diehl - Daylight: Or L'yom 2oz
Silky and Comfortable
I was looking for something easy to have at 5am when it's still dark out and that I could continue to puff for bowl after bowl throughout the day. This is it. It is an odd duck in the sense that no tag really fits it (Not a VA, VaPer, English, etc). It just is.The Orientals and Latakia are far back in the background. They are just a hint and enough to accent the other tobaccos. The perique gives you a little bit of that tongue tingle and the rest all marry wonderfully together. Can be pushed a bit with no bite but does tend to get bitter if you push to hard. Packs & burns easily even in a massive bowl (Tsuge Tasting 23). Strength is very mild and the flavor is as well. If your a "lat bomb" or "burley" kind of guy this probably won't be for you. If you're looking for something mild and easy with coffee, tea or water, that you can go through bowl after bowl without getting mouth fatigue, definitely try this one. Wish they sold it in 8 or 16 oz cans.

Cult - Blood Red Moon 50g
Outstanding Aro - Bought tons of it.
If your looking for a mild but flavorful Aromatic that won't make you feel like you ate hot coals, then pick this up. It's a cherry tobacco and nothing else. It's easy, comfortable, no bite and doesn't need deep thoughts and ponderings. You won't reach for that 20 year single malt to pair it with. You'll just stick it in your pipe and smoke it. Don't' stick it in a briar that you want to use for something else as it ghosts heavily. Don't buy this if you're the (English accent) "Charles, the Latakia interplays wonderfully with the bright Virginias and I can taste the woody, smoky dog shit, and spicy stale NYC subway piss smell throughout the bowl" kind of pipe smoker. I like English, Balkans, Aros and even some Burley blends and usually smoke upwards of 4-6 bowls a day. This stuff is good for what it is.

Not For Me but.....
Different strokes and what not but I couldn't even get through the first bowl. I bought do to all the "Yum" reviews I've seen across the net. Although new to pipe smoking (smoked cigars forever and still love 'em) I usually gravitate towards English / Balkan and somveVaPers and Aros (Cult Blood Red Moon ie). Haven't had a cigarette in years and that's what this tasted like to me. Edit: Revised my opinion after giving this blend a second try. Stuck it in a corn cob to see if that would help. Upon lighting a bowl up it's terrible. I mean foul. But give it a minute to warm up and it starts to taste better. Don't think this would be a go to, or a staple in my cellar but I might be tempted to have a bowl here or there.

G. L. Pease - Chelsea Morning 2oz
Makes a great morning !!!
Very easy English blend with just enough flavor to accompany that morning coffee, or to be an all day smoke. I love EMP and I find this to be a step behind it but not by much. It seems to be a bit more "comfortable". Easy pack and burns with zero bite. Extremely well behaved blend, stays lit on its own without fussing.

Cornell & Diehl - Crooked Lane 2oz
Delicious
Wonderful English blend which I find to be somewhere to the left of medium in strength. Excellent balance of flavors, burns very well, without any fussing.
