Dan Tobacco - Salty Dogs 50g
True Plug, True Fun!
Smoking this now in a Dagner-MM cob, gravity fed after prep of course! I prep or slice this plug by cutting the plug in half, lengthwise, then use a cigar cutter to slice off thin slices from the lengthwise sliced blocks. Gravity feed the bowl to the top with these little slices and go. It takes a few lights to get going but the payoff is a very smooth VA with a touch of perique pepper showing up throughout the smoke. No bite, long smoke, medium nic. The rum casing is barely noticed during the smoke and more evident in the aroma during prep/slicing. Yes, it is expensive but well worth the experience in prep and smoke. There's an awful lot of smoking pleasure in that little 50gm block. I'm very impressed with it each time I burn this plug! Thank You DTM and SP for making this a reality for us US Burners!
Peterson - Irish Dew 40g
Luxury Blend, Masterfully Blended
Definitely! This a superb smoke anytime of day or night. This is an aro but it's more like an Aro that non-Aro smokers would burn when they crave an Aro, if that makes sense ;) Mild, sweet, cool, rich in fruity sweetness and vanilla undertones on a bed of chocolate. This is a treat!

Oh my, this is nice surprise
This is an English with a more pronounced spice note from the choice orientals. Not Latakia heavy in the smoke, though present all along. Hope Pete offers this in the pound bags...

Great piper tray!
See my comments for the blonde one.
Ashtrays - Craftsman's Bench Boca Grande Natural
Great for the piper!
I needed a nice "tobacco prep/drying tray" and didn't want to use a bowl or plate etc. along come these two beautiful tobacco leaves in golden and maduro shades, I picked the golden one. It has been on my smoke-deck for the past 2 yrs and has been a faithful companion and an integral part of my pipe loading ritual or tin/bulk leaf to jar processing for the cellar. The two funnel-like ends corral the little bits (kindling) to just pour or funnel it all on top of my next burn. I do believe this is intended as a cigar ashtray but I do beg to differ! Mine has not seen any ash at all! Just prime leaf! Highly recommend!
McClelland - Special: Christmas Cheer 2013 100g
Ready NOW.....
.......Scary Gooo-oood aged!......I am betting. By far, the best CC I have smoked to date! As stated, sweet, creamy-buttery, light grass to sweet hay, no bite even when pushed moderately. Yummy Va! Kudos McClelland & Co!
