Missouri Meerschaum - Ozark Mountain Bent (6mm)
Almost perfect
These are a great pipe for me. If MM would just release them with their Danish bit instead of the hard plastic one, I'd give it a full 5 stars.

Kramer's - House Aromatic
Decent
One of the better aromatics that I've tried, but not something I would smoke every day.

Kramer's - Father Dempsey
Holy Cow! Holy Smoke!
This is a fantastic blend that I missed. I think that the real Father Dempsey got it right when he declared to Mr. Kramer "Allen, stop right there. This is better than anything I've ever had from Dunhill. This is what I want to smoke!" That's bold talk from any man, but I think he was right - especially considering the price, and the availability. Bravo Allen Kramer, and bravo Father Dempsey.

Lane Limited - HGL
My go to 'break in' tobacco
Back when I first started smoking a pipe, (when dinosaurs ruled the Earth) I used to break in my new pipes with a codger blend like Carter Hall. But when I finally found HGL, This became the first tobacco I use for all my new pipes. I think it's the perfect tobacco for this. While it's an aromatic, it's ghost if any is a mild, sweet, and very faint ghost that disappears with the first bowl of any other blend. In my book, that's the example of a 'break in' blend.

Cornell & Diehl - Captain Bob's Blend
Secret Favorite
This has been a secret favorite of mine for years. When Capt. Bob first started to promote it online he got some flak (pun intended) but I was willing to give it a shot just from the description alone. I have to say that the first couple of bowls left me wondering what the heck I had just smoked. The aroma screamed drugstore aromatic, but the flavor whispered american/english blend. All in all, a welcome surprise and I wouldn't be without it in my regular rotation.

Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening
Just a few thoughts
First, I refuse to be limited to smoking this blend only in the Autumn, and only in the Evening. I can smoke this anytime. It's probably one of the best aromatics on the market. Sweet, but not goopy, and still tastes like tobacco. Very nice!

Cornell & Diehl - Epiphany
My go to...
Not a "proper" english per se, but I find it to be warm, relaxing and easy on the palate. I spend a lot of time on the front porch with this one.
