Missouri Meerschaum - Cornell & Diehl Charles Towne Cobbler
An heir & a spare
I keep three of these so I won’t ever be without. Missouri Meerschaum doesn’t make great pipes, they make cheap pipes. Every so often, in spite of themselves, they make a pipe greater than the sun of its parts. The CTC is the easiest smoking pipe I have known. Really the rare gem of a cob.

Pipe Accessories - Savinelli Origami 4 Pipe Holder - Grey/Dark Brown
Is good.
A fun little puzzle to have your friends try to refold this pipe stand. Once together, it holds a MM Pony Express just as securely as it does my Moretti stack.

Reiner - Professional 100g
RUINS AROMATICS
If you like aromatics, don’t try this. You will not be able to smoke the like Capt. Black or 1Q again, without feeling like you’ve given up on life.

Kramer's - Father Dempsey
THE daily smoke
Call it a heavy-medium or a light-heavy. It is the story of the three bears told in tobacco. "This one is too harsh." "This one is too light." "This one is just right!" I am always on the lookout for an english that I will like better than Father Dempsey, because I imagine what an amazing tobacco that would be. The reality is that I have filled up a large canister I throw all my rejects into. Taste is subjective, so I cannot promise you will love this as much as I do; but if you like an english then this is one that has stood the test of time and deserve a try.

Stands & Pouches - Peterson Classic 2 Pipe Bag
you can pay more for less
I embrace the hobby side of pipe smoking. I like the nicer things, and sometimes you have to be willing to pay up for that. I'm not a pipe snob, I love my MMs because of how well they smoke, but there is something special about a nice briar, and there is a price component that goes with that. This case is one of those glorious exceptions where competitive quality comes at a disproportionate cost. I've had mine for almost 5 years and I still look a fancier cases, but its like being married to a beautiful woman. I'll look but that only serves to remind me that I like what I have at home.
