Rattray's - Brown Clunee 100g
My standard smoke
A well balanced blend that changes from sweet to spicy as you search for that fine grey ash at the bottom.

A great beginning
This is the first of these blends that I have tried and it is a great start. The first thing I thought on opening the tin was whiskey. Paring the blend with a Bruchladdie Port Charlotte and smoking it out of a Ropp Vintage proved a good experience. The Latakia does not over power and most of the time. I could not separate the various tobacco flavors as they had so throughly mixed together that all I tasted was the blend. The only way I knew there was Perique there was on the retrohale when it’s presence becomes well known. All in all a great blend
