Peterson - Old Dublin 50g
Latakia, latakia
Crikey, the tin note is reminiscent of month old socks, however do not be put off, it is a very enjoyable and relaxing smoke for Latakia lovers.

Dunhill - My Mixture 965 50g

Erinmore - Erinmore Mixture 50g
Nice!
Received this by accident instead of the flake version, however it was a very enjoyable smoke with a nice tin aroma. Definitely recommended.

Cornell & Diehl - Epiphany 8oz
A real let down
The tin aroma was an absolutely delightful with a sour plum aroma. Alas, it smoked very dry and left me each time with dry tickly cough. I so wanted to like this one, but ended up throwing the majority in the garbage after about twenty tries.

Rattray's - Old Gowrie 500g
A Va smokers must have
A pleasant and relaxing smoke. I'll certainly stock up when there's more on offer!

Samuel Gawith - Full Virginia Flake
A great Va flake
Beautifully pressed, moist flakes. A must for Va fans, this one will not disappoint.

Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - 1931 Flake 3.5oz

Promised so much and delivered so little!
I was lucky enough to get signed tins when this series came out. I absolutely loved the first and third in this offering. However the second one and this, the forth have been a great disappointment. The tin aroma is sublime, vanilla and honey, however, it was so wet it almost needed "hanging out on a washing line" prior to smoking, and as with the second in the series had zero flavour in the pipe. My advise, buy the first and third in this series and forget the other two.

Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - 1897 3.5oz
Not as good as his other offerings
Beautiful aroma of honey and vanilla. However, the tobacco was wetter than November, and when smoked had zero flavour, a great disappointment for me as the first and third offerings in this series are a 5/5 smokers delight.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Ennerdale Flake
Lakeside style?!
Beautiful flakes, however it smells like Grandma's lavender perfume and will ghost your pipe for a very long time. So, if you're brave enough to try this flake use a cheap corn cob and buy a small amount first!
