CAO - Eileen's Dream 50g
Good natural aro
Pleasant tin note.No chemical taste or smell.Slow burning and don't pack tight to let it breathe.Balanced taste and though it's an aro,you will get some nicotine without a nasty taste. There is a play between vanilla, hazelnut and almonds tastes. I recommend it to more experienced aro smokers.Well worth a try.
Cornell & Diehl - Black Cavendish
Outstanding!
This is an outstanding base for flavoring.I flavored it with Captain Morgan's spiced gold rum. Very smooth and clean, slow burning, consistent taste till the end of the bowl,no bite or aftertaste. Couldn't ask for more!
Sutliff - D54 Chocolate Supreme
Not my choice of an aro
This tobacco is weird.I smoked a few bowls of it to write a review that does the justice.First off,I'm an aro fan,so others might have a different take on this tobacco. The pouch note is simply strange.I just couldn't guess it's the usual kind of aro I smoke.Room note is weak.I don't like the bite.I tried and by the way I smoke cool. But the bite is unavoidable. As it has burley and virginia tobaccos,I'm not sure which one ruined the taste more or overpowered the black cavendish.Definitely a deal breaker for beginners. Not an easy or every day smoke.Hopefully, they will higher the black cavendish percentage in the future. It might do the trick for the aro fans.
Sutliff - B28 Hot Chocolate
Very mild
This tobacco is extremely mild.Pouch note is inviting. It tastes too mild.Room note is weak.Easy smoke.Good for beginners. I give it 3/5,as I hardly notice any taste.
Sutliff - B30 Chocolate Mousse
Easy smoke
This is an easy smoke.Pleasant pouch note.Mild tobacco.Room note is hardly noticeable.Chocolate taste is not as strong as I expected, but still good.Suitable for beginners.Every day smoke with no problem.
Sutliff - SPS-21 Black Vanilla
Natural Vanilla taste
I just tried this tobacco for the first time. It's a great aro.Nice pouch note..Mild tobacco.Natural vanilla taste to the bottom of the bowl Easy every day smoke for beginners and experienced smokers.
Cornell & Diehl - Irish Blessing
Mild and sweet
This is a mild tobacco that is easy to smoke and sone might choose it as an everyday smoke.Pouch note is pleasant.Easy to light and burns well.Tastes sweet, not overwheming.Spice is there,so smoke cool to avoid tongue bite.It reminds me of Irish Cream/Caramel Macchiato taste.
Mac Baren - Vanilla Flake 1.75oz
Awesome
I'm an aro fan and I'm still looking for aromatic tobaccos that that are in anyway similar to the legendary McClelland's.Based on a review, this one would fit the bill.I tried this tobacco and boy,was I surprised! Great taste, aroma and the closest thing to McClelland's.Not an overwhelming aro,so beginners can enjoy it,as well.Very clean and easy to smoke tobacco. No burn or after taste. The vanilla taste and room note are right on the money. Will be having more of this outstanding stuff!
Gurkha - Wicked Indie Robusto
Strong
This is a strong cigar. On a scale of 0-10, I give it an 8 for strength.Started peppery and mellowed out shortly after., Good burn, well wrapped.Very good draw and consistency. It tastes the same all the way to the end.I prefer medium cigars with a strength of 6 out of 10.So,this one is a bit too strong for me as a daily smoke.Good quality, and an ok cigar for the more experienced smokers.
Sutliff - Creme Brulee
Good aro
Though Im an aro fan,I didn't experience the overrated taste of this tobacco.Pouch note is mild, room note is pleasant. The taste is not strong enough for me,as I prefer peach taste. It tastes more like honey and vanilla, not very sweet. No bite, burns cool. You probably need to light it a few times. All in all a good aro.Even if you are not an aro fan,you will enjoy this easy, all day smoke.
Odyssey - Connecticut Gigante (20 Pack)
Papery & harsh
I smoked the 60 ring gauge. It tastes like paper, like many other low priced cigars. It tasted harsh all the way to the end. This is not to say it is a medium or strong cigar. The harsh taste was weird. No draw or burn issues, though.I understand if a cigar is this size, it is usually priced higher. But for $2 a stick, my favorite cigars are Victor Sinclair serie 55, which are amazingly good, but not available on this site.
Super Value - Peach 12oz
Average tobacco
I'm an aro fan. This tobacco is slow burning, has no bite.Has sweet pouch note.Tastes an smells like unnatural sweet peach.Room note is fruity. It is an easy smoke. If the smell and taste were natural,I would give it 4 stars.I would still smoke it,sometimes, but not everyday.Burns cool. All in all,an ok smoke
Sutliff - Spiced Rum
Sweeeeet Rum
This tobacco is closer to average strength, yet smooth and easy to smoke.Sweet room note that is not strong and not weak.Tastes like great spicy rum,as the name says.Slow burning,no bite.If you like rum,you can't afford to miss this one!
Super Value - Chocolate 1.5oz
Mild tobacco
I'm an aromatic fan. I believe this is good quality tobacco.I prefer stronger tasting aros, otherwise I would give it 4 stars. It tastes mild.Room note is not strong. It doesn' bite.It is slow burning. It' s good while having a cup of coffee. As it is a mild tobacco,it's an easy smoke for every pipe smoker.
Cornell & Diehl - Sweet English
Between aro & non-aro
Pouch note of vanilla. This tobacco is a bit strong. The tobacco taste is not strong but as an aromatic fan, it is a bit stronger than I expected. Room note is strong with vanilla in the background. No bite.Burns a bit faster than usual. This tobacco can be smoked by both aro and non aro fans,as to me,it is somewhere in between.
Planta - Anno MMXVI (Cosmopolitan Mixture)
Tobacco taste and smell
Pouch note is of citrus. Tobacco is a bit strong. Tobacco taste is always present. Room note of tobacco and citrus in the background. No bite. This tobacco would suit non-aromatic fans better.
Lane Limited - RLP-6
Smooth
Pouch note is mild and pleasant. This tobacco is extremely mild.No bite. Mild and interesting taste of vanilla and a bit of creamy chocolate in the background. Room not is quite mild. I tried smoking this in my Mr.Brog Lumberjack, which has a huge bowl.It took over 2 hours to smoke the full bowl.Burned well and tasted sweet to the end of the bowl. As I expected.Lane Limited proved to be of very high quality, again. It is truly an all day smoke. That says a lot. If you like an easy smoke, this is a great tobacco. If you like it and crave for something sweeter,Lane Limited Buttered Rum would feel like a dream come true.
McClelland - 700 - Baklava
Sweet honey
Pouch note is sweet. Mild tobacco. Tastes yummy like sweet honey Room note is pleasant. No bite.
Cornell & Diehl - Maple Cavendish
Stronger than expected
This tobacco was stronger than I expected. Tobacco taste is present.A bit harsh for an aromatic. The taste is strong but not too strong. Room note is weaker. No bite. I think this tobacco is more suitable for non-aromatic fans
Sutliff - SPS-2011 Peach Cobbler
Peach
This is one of the best aromatics I've smoked,so far. Tin note made me hungry! Mild tobacco.Tasty flavorful peach.Room note is sweet as fresh peaches. Very balanced. No bite.Burns cool.
Brick House - Mighty Mighty
Flavorful
This is a surprisingly good cigar at this price. I give it a 4 out of 10 for strength. Very pleasant sweetness. Ok draw.No burning issues. I haven't smoked a cigar this good at triple the price. I'd buy again for sure.
Cornell & Diehl - Dark Chocolate
Rich chocolate flavour
Tin note is of rich dark chocolate. Mild tobacco. No bite.Burns well.Room note is sweet. It tastes yummy and unforgettable. It is similar to Cornell & Diehl mocha, but a bit sweeter.
Sutliff - J12 - Chocolate Truffle
Chocolate dreams
Tin note is of real chocolate. Mild tobacco,No bite.Smooth to the end of the bowl.Slow burning. Room note is more of chocolate and less coconut. Tastes yummy. Can be smoked for hours and still tastes and smells good.
Cornell & Diehl - Espresso
Good quality
Tin note is of strong espresso, the way it should be.This tobacco is of mild-medium strength. Tastes like a good cup of espresso with a pleasant room note.No bite.Cool and fast burning. If you like to try something sweeter,Cornell and Diehl mocha would be your best bet.
Cornell & Diehl - Mocha
Balanced
Tin note is of mild mocha. Mild tobacco. No bite. Natural tasty mocha. Room note is of a relaxing coffee shop. Very pleasant with a cup of coffee. Good quality.Well balanced. Tastes like real mocha till the bottom of the bowl.
McClelland - MCR - McRaspberry
Awesome
Tin note is nice and mild. The taste of raspberry is amazing.Mild tobacco, pleasant room note. This is one of the best aromatics that I've tried,so far. Smoke it slowly and enjoy the moment.
Cornell & Diehl - Founding Fathers
Too mild
Tobacco taste and smell is there. Not really appealing to an aromatic fan, like me.A bit harsh. Full bowl lasted about 45 mins in my Savinelli Hercules 604 EX pipe. It's fast burning. Very mild taste and smell.Tin note is mild. Tastes a bit like vanilla, which is too mild.
Cornell & Diehl - Apricots and Cream
Yummy
The tin note is quite pleasant,Apricot smell at its best. This is probably one of the tastiest aromatics, ever. The room note is as sweet as it tastes.Vanilla smell and taste is present, here. No bite.No tobacco taste. All in all,a great aromatic.
Lane Limited - Hazelnut
Mild and clean
This tobacco is fast burning. It took me 40 mins to smoke a full bowl in my Savinelli Hercules 604 EX pipe. It has a very mild tin note.No taste of tobacco.Taste and room note are both very mild. No bite and of a very good quality as I expected from Lane Limited. The mild smell of hazelnut is pleasant. The only reason I gave it 3 and a half stars,is because I prefer stronger taste and room note from aromatic tobaccos.Other than that,it's fine.
Super Value - Bourbon Whiskey 1.5oz
Superb
I tried smoking this tobacco in my Savinelli Hercules 604 EX.A full bowl lasted for about an hour, which shows it is not slow burning.Staying lit was not easy, that is not an issue, for me. The tin note is exactly like smelling bourbon out of the bottle, which is great. What is outstanding about this tobacco is that it tastes yummy, smells as strong as it tastes and it is surprisingly balanced. This tobacco is mild.No tobacco taste.Burning cool and no bite as it says. If you like to drink bourbon whiskey, this tobacco is a match made in heaven. For over 2 years I just had 4 favorite aromatics, but this tobacco is now my 5th favorite on the list. What surprised me even more was the price. At this price, this is definitely a steal. By the way I'm an aromatic fan.I hope my review helps other aromatic lovers.
Amphora - Full Aroma 1.75oz
Average
I smoked this tobacco in my Savinelli Hercules 604 Ex pipe.It took 80 mins to the bottom of the bowl. So,I can say it's slow burning. Tin note is not strong. This tobacco is of average strength, but I tasted the tobacco more than anything aromatic. The fruit and chocolate taste is lost, here, overpowered by tobacco taste and smell.Room note is more of tobacco than fruit/chocolate. I suppose this tobacco would be more appreciated by non-aromatic fans. I'm an aromatic fan. So,I can just say I won't try smoking it again.
Peterson - Irish Cask 50g
Fig & pepper
This tobacco is more on the stronger side of the scale. The tobacco taste is constantly there. The tin note is of sweet fig more than anything else.Fig taste and smell was dominant and halfway down the bowl, pepper and spice kicked in.If you like perique, natural tobacco taste and spice, you might like to try Irish oak.For a beginner, this may taste a bit strong. For others,I would say if you like tobacco taste,it's well worth a try.
Mac Baren - Plumcake 16oz
Adding sweetness ....
This is probably one of the best quality tobaccos I have ever smoked.Easy to smoke.Tastes great, but not strong.Room note is wonderful. The tobacco strength seems mild, though rated average.I also blended plumcake with some very mild and boring tobacco and the result was truly exciting!
Peter Stokkebye - PS303 Peaches & Creme
Mild aromatic
This tobacco is not strong,so it's easy to smoke. Pleasant room note. It tastes mild. I gave it 4 stars overall,as I expected stronger taste. If you like peaches, you will enjoy this mild aromatic.
Sutliff - Buttered Rum
Well balanced
Mild tobacco.Easy to smoke for a few hours. Room note is sweet and tempting. The Rum and butter tastes play beautifully here and make this a yummy smoke. This is between the better quality tobaccos available, today. Tastes sweet to the bottom of the bowl and won't disappoint any aromatic fan who enjoys the sweet rum taste and smell.
Cornell & Diehl - Strawberry Cavendish
Mild & sweet
This tobacco is mild and easy to smoke. The taste is mild,as well.I give it a 2 out of 5 for the taste strength. Room note is very mild and sweet,as it tastes. I gave a total 4 out of 5 stars, just because I expected it to taste sweeter and stronger, other than that,it's great.
McClelland - M55 - Georgia Cream
The sweetest thing
If you like aromatic tobacco, smoking Georgia Cream is the start of a never-ending love story. Sweet, well balanced, tastes and smells beyond you highest expectations Room note that brings the spring to your home. You literally taste and smell the peach and honey. The tobacco is mild and beginner or experienced, you will enjoy smoking it till the last moment.
Peterson - Nutty Cut 50g
Average tobacco
This is a stronger than average tobacco.Room note is weak.Tastes a bit strong and the tobacco strength overpowers the aroma, which makes it hard to call this an aromatic.
CAO - Moontrance 50g
Aromatic tobacco from heaven
One of the best aromatic tobaccos I have tried. Tastes yummy, room note is lovely and not strong. And it's kind of a milder tobacco, which I prefer. CAO is first class, all the way.
Mac Baren - 7 Seas Red 16oz
Mac Baren could do much better
I've been smoking pipes for a couple of years, now. Firstly, I only smoke aromatic tobacco. So, no bias, here. I rarely get tongue bite, but there is so much tongue bite with 7 seas red, that I couldn't believe. And by the way, I puff in and out slowly. The taste is cherry and it's very bitter comparing to any other tobacco that I've tried so far. It has average strength. Room note is not strong, which is fine. I'm a big fan of Mac Baren's Plumcake, so, 7 seas red was disappointing overall, as I expected a lot more from Mac Baren
