A superior blend.Nothing I have smoked has been as satisfying to date.
Esoterica - And So To Bed 2oz
New Favorite II
I have to agree with Phantom Wolfe's assessment of this blend. It pretty much mirrors my first experience as well. Pure delight to the very bottom of the bowl. This will be an all day smoke I am sure.
Edward G. Robinson - Edward G. Robinson 1.5oz
Very pleasant all day blend. Mild,Smokey and subtle, fruity and slow burning. No surprises through out the smoke.
Esoterica - Dunbar 2oz
I am most fortunate that I have access to this blend because It's a beauty. Rich, mellow, slow burning and with a touch of earthy sweetness. No surprises,no change up, consistent to the end.
Hearth & Home - Blackhouse 1.75oz
Perhaps it is not very sophisticated but for simplicity sake I generally categorize tobacco into those blends that I don't mind coming to an end and those that I do.This is definitely one of the few that fall in the latter category. Rich in taste and consistent to the last puff. This blend is to be savored.
Savinelli - Brunello Flake 100g
Sutliff - Crumble Kake English #1 1.5oz
If this is a poor man's Penzance, I am content.
G. L. Pease - Blackpoint 8oz
Pure goodness. A solid smoke that keeps getting better to the last exquisite puff.Top of my rotation for sure.
Arango - Balkan Supreme
Well, perhaps not Nirvana but damn close Superb tobacco.
G. L. Pease - Stonehenge Flake 2oz
I make no pretensions to be an expert in the world of VaPer's since I am a predominately English lover. However, I have found this to be an excellent offering. It is to be savored for it delicate and tasty notes. Take it for what it's worth. I think this is an excellent smoke. I h ave the good fortune to belong to a local pipe club and we often bring various tobacco's to our meetings. I would not hesitate to put this one on the table. As for the nursing home bit, well, the only thing I can say is " NO WAY !! I seriously think that the gentlemen responsible for this blend have the ethical standards to put only their best efforts forward.I tthink they have done this admirably.
McClelland - Personal Reserve: British Woods 50g
Perfect smoke. All the reviews below are spot on. I have found this one irresistible. Since receiving it, it has quickly become my preferred blend any time of the day. Something about this one that keeps you coming back.
Sutliff - 150 Mark Twain
Most enjoyable blend.Smooth and consistent all the way to the end with no surprises as in where's the taste I started out with. Great taste and aroma.Almost let back into the house with this one.Highly recommended. Will buy lots more.
Dan Tobacco - Da Vinci 50g
As primarily an English Blend smoker I found this tobacco an unexpected surprise. I was hoping to find this a nice change of pace blend but now it looks like it will be a regular in the rotation.Very smooth, tasty blend that remains consistent to the end and burns to a fine ash.The Chianti note is subtle making it all the more intriguing.
Cornell & Diehl - Sansepolcro 2oz
At the outset let me say that I am and love all things Italian (with the exception of Mussolini and Berlusconi) including Grappa.I defer to Shane Ireland's excellent review of this blend on smoking pipes for a less ethnically biased view of this blend. That having been said, this is a very fine and complex blend especially noteworthy for its rich, smokey and slow burning properties. It got better as the smoke progrgressed.I find that a cigar presence definitely was in the foreground but not obstrusive. It is mild and burns to a fine ash.Ony took one light to get it going.Pure pleasure but not for the faint of heart.
G. L. Pease - Sixpence 2oz
I too have entered the "dark paneled room" and found to my utter delight this fine blend by Mr.Pease. I can honestly say this is a master blend.Delicious! Mr.Pease you are a magician. Grazie mio amico.Bravo !
