Cornell & Diehl - Yorktown 2oz
Virginia Purist's Delight
This is a great Va blend. I appreciate that C&D's tobaccos are cased in a way that maintains the integrity of the natural tobacco flavors. This one is solid on it's own if you are looking for a straight forward Red/Bright Va and in my opinion it would make a fantastic base for creating your own blend(s).
Peterson - 3 P's Peterson's Perfect Plug 50g
Perfect Plug it is
This is a wonderful extremely dense plug with excellent flavor. I would like to caution anyone new to this plug. If you notice a rubber band like smell when you crack the tin, don't fret. Jar it for several weeks and it will dissipate. I am not sure if it's from the topping or the cellophane, but it's absolutely worth the wait. 3Ps and Warrior Plug are similar tobaccos and both wonderful dense VaBur plugs. Top 10 favorite for sure.
G. L. Pease - Union Square 2oz
Excellent
This tobacco has a very bright and complex flavor when smoked fresh. I have not had it with any substantial age to it, but I can only imagine how fantastic it will be with a couple of years on it.
G. L. Pease - Quiet Nights 2oz
Superior
Although the two are not comparable in taste, Quiet Nights is in every way superior to the fabled Penzance. This tobacco is an all day everyday go to that is top quality. Cannot say enough good things about it.
