About Me:
I am almost 66 years old, and I started smoking pipes when I was 16 years old. I have taken breaks now and then from the pipe, and after my divorce in 2000 all my pipes vanished, my dear ex threw them away. I have never owned anything other than Dr Grabows, but now I'm ready for my first good pipe, a big choice with so many choices. I live in SC near Columbia, and if anyone else on here lives in my area I'd sure like to know if there's a B&M store anywhere in the area. Even a place that has a bunch of Grabows in stock. Many thanks, and I look forward to learning a lot of good things here.

Very Good!
I had never tried any of this, but I've read that Shelby Foote smoked this mixed with other tobaccos, one of them was H&H. I mixed a pouch of H&H with the 1.5 ounce tin of EGR. This makes a great smoke, to me anyway. I have it jarred and smoke a couple of bowls a day of it. I could see this being my all day smoke in the future.
