Peterson - 3 P's Peterson's Perfect Plug 50g
One of my top shelf choices!
I really enjoy this one a lot. The preparation, The many ways you can cut it for different smoking effects. One of my favorites smokes it the last bowl I cube cut with the last little bit to thin to slice but to thick to fold or rub out. I can tell it is topped but I would not call it an aromatic.

Smokey and good. I just thought they made aromatics but this is one o the bet English/Balkan mixtures around.

I love the name, package and total marketing of this Booze toped Balkan. The first bowl I had was good but left me craving more and the more I smoke the better. One of my favorites in the winter.

Not only is it the quintessential Balkan blend but it is my favorite to break in pipes on account of how well it behaves.

I mean this stuff is good. I only smoke a handful of aromatics a year and this just passed st pat's day and cult for my top aromatic.
Rattray's - Marlin Flake 100g

Really, this is that good. It might have become my top vap. The bacon cut is amazing. It took me a long time as it is hard to find here and I had to get a tin at my B&M but I recently reorder when SP got some in. Oh skip the chase and get the 100g tin. The scent is amazing, earthy and what I would call raisin or fig. It smokes well and has a good strength flavor ratio.
McConnell - Folded Flake 50g

It might mellow with age but I only had my tin a couple weeks when I opened it. It was not bad but I wont run to reorder. It was worth trying.

I would have to say YES, strong but smooth! A must have in the rotation.
