Sutliff - Barbados Plantation 1.5oz
Finst kind
I was a dedicated smoker of a 50/50 mixture of Molto Dolce and Maple Street. Barbados Plantation was recommended to me by a fellow smoker. I tried it straight and mixed with Molto Dolce. These are heavenly tobaccos for aromatic smokers. Maple Street drops to #3. Molto Dolce to #2.

Sutliff - Maple Street 1.5oz
Ultimate mixture?
Mix Sutliff Maple Street 50/50 with Sutliff Molto Dolce. That takes care of the moisture/stickiness problem with the Molto Dolce and results in a smoke that doesn't bite, smells really great, tastes good, and is a great value. It even smells great on your clothing. I've just resumed pipe smoking after a thirty-some year hiatus, and I love this mixture. Sure, very now and then I crave a little Latakia, but for all day, day to day smoking, I want this. (Posted also under Molto Dolce)

Erinmore - Erinmore Flake 50g
The symbol on the tin
I've researched this a bit. It may not be a pineapple; it may well be a thistle. In Celtic symbolism the thistle represents noble character and graciousness. It became the emblem of Scotland in the 1200s, as well as the Chivalric Order of the Thistle in 1540. Why it's on what is supposed to be an Irish style of tobacco is another question. Personally, I like to use Erinmore Flake to season black cavendish tobacco.
