Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Bob's Chocolate Flake
Not Your Run of the Mill Aromatic
What a wonderful blend. It has a truly wonderful tin/bag aroma (if purchased in bulk). The tobacco is rather stout for an aromatic. Bob's Chocolate Flake by Gawith Hoggarth is superior tobacco, but it needs to be dried. Highly recommended, just remember to rub it out and let it dry.
Sutliff - Maple Shadows II 8oz
Great Fall Smoke
This is a nice change of pace and a great smoke when it's cool outside. The maple flavoring is present at the beginnings but seems to fade a little over half way. It has a pleasing aroma. It's not an all day smoke as it is a little on the strong side.
Kramer's - Blend for Cary Grant
A Nice Non-aromatic Aromatic
Overall a pleasant and mild smoke. It's one of my favorite blends and has replaced my "aromatics" as my favorite non-aromatic aromatic.
Cornell & Diehl - Golden Days of Yore 2oz
Please Bring Back
Good aromatic offering by C&D to get you into the holiday sprit. The tin note is wonderfully X-masy.Moisture content was good and it lights up right away. Little to no bite to report. Also love the tin art.
Cornell & Diehl - Corn Cob Pipe and A Button Nose Ready Rubbed 2oz
Happy Holidays
This is one of those rare aromatics that tastes exactly as it smells. I'm a big fan and will be stocking up for the holiday season. The burn is relatively steady, slow, and even, and there is no bite unless you really try to push it. I also love the tin artwork.
Cornell & Diehl - Jolly Old Saint Nicholas 2oz
Excellent Holliday Blend
This is a really pleasant aromatic! Not too sweet, just a pleasant Christmas blend that, in my humble opinion is C&D’s best thus far.
Orlik - Golden Sliced 100g
Always in my cellar
Orlik Golden Sliced will always be in my cellar, it's a true classic, it's very light and accessible, doesn't overwhelm at all yet isn't lacking in interest.
