Cornell & Diehl - Oak Alley 2oz
Superb.
Second bowl and I was hooked. The sweet red virginias really shine through. Can't imagine not having this in my rotation. Couldn't wait until I wad\s 80 yrs. old for it to peak. Is delicious right from the tin.
Cornell & Diehl - Billy Budd Blonde 2oz
A great addition.
Billy Budd is a regular in my lineup, and now there is another great variation. Has already found a home with me.
John Aylesbury - Finest British 50g
Superb.
The most superbly balanced and blended English I have come across.
Bengal Slices - Bengal Slices 1.75oz
Uhh . . .
Scented bath soap. Man up and smoke some Junkyard Dawg or some Billy Budd.
Kramer's - Father Dempsey 50g
Superb find.
I have been drifting away from the heavier latakia blends, but this blend brings it in just right. Rather unique and special.
Cornell & Diehl - Big 'n' Burley 2oz
Another great find from C&D.
Big and Burley puts me in mind of Junk Yard Dawg (my current favorite blend), but sweeter and not as dark. Has substantial vitamin N. I find that I have gravitated to such mixtures that are no nonsense, rich and satisfying. Indeed, a great find.
Dan Tobacco - Bill Bailey's Balkan Blend 50g
Superb English blend.
Absolutely delicious, five stars. Nothing else to add.
Cornell & Diehl - Blockade Runner 2oz
Very nice cake.
My second crumble cake, and it's very good, though I enjoy the Black Frigate a little more.
Cornell & Diehl - Junkyard Dawg 2oz
Not for civilians.
Frog Morton is a mild, Shire blend. This is an orc blend, strong, no nonsense, like a strong black cup of coffee. Love it.
Cornell & Diehl - Black Frigate 2oz
Deeply delicious.
This is not one of those elegant latakia blends. It's no nonsense, hearty, and delicious. Will definitely re-order.
Dan Tobacco - Treasures of Ireland: Kilarney 50g
Bingo.
Stephanie S. Nailed it. This is a great find, and with John Cotton's #1, they really satisfy when I want this kind of smooth, tasty smoke.
John Cotton's - Number 1 1.75oz
A wonderful find.
What Bradley H. said. Of my varied mixtures, I find myself dipping into this perfectly balanced blend 2 to 1 over anything else. Can't imagine not having such a great smoke around.
Three Nuns - Three Nuns 1.75oz
Still number one.
I like the rich, earthy tobacco taste not dressed up or topped off. Always the staple when returning from my side bar mixtures.
A&C Petersen - Escudo Navy Deluxe 50g
Classic.
Could smoke this comfortably all day. It's basic and satisfying. Like potatoes; delicious and you can eat them every day and never get tired of them.
Dunhill - Durbar 50g
Smooth.
This stuff is mature and sophisticated. To me, it writes another page on the meaning of smooth and subtle.
