Lighters - Brebbia Pipe Lighter - 'Bowl Flame' Grey
It does the job
I got this for the gimmick. A patented "bowl flame" lighter..interesting. It almost comes off as a weaker cigar lighter, but, almost too hot compared to the ideal "soft flame" recommendations we're all used to hearing about. Its heavy in hand and holds alot of fuel. It also has a decent flame adjustment setting, though id keep it no more than medium. The tools arent worth mentioning. The tamper is very small, roughly the size of the top of a push pin, the shovel has a weird shape but does the trick and the pick is hooked.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - North Star 50g
Seeking direction
Unlike the north star that sticks out prominently as a guiding beacon in the night sky, this star gets lost amongst all of the rest of them, making it blend in like every other subpar Virginia. Even with a few months in the can and in a meerschaum, the taste got lost in space.

Cornell & Diehl - Folklore 16oz
2yrs later..
Sitting underneath an overcast sky, meerschaum in hand...i didnt think how much my opinion would've changed about this 1lb brick 2yrs later. Fermented sweetness of those different Virginias really came to compliment eachother. Drawing in this fruit basket of flavor is a treat with no tongue bite to be seen...fantastic. Buying this was a big gamble, but one that paid off. I think id be crazy enough to even buy another just to see what kind of Folklore itll tell in the end.

Mac Baren - HH Latakia Flake 1.75oz
This!
Yeah this is getting a perfect rating from me. It is delicious. Just blended perfectly. Even if you dont favor latakia, i think this will begin your journey and very well be the only latakia journey you will ever take. It is that good

Cornell & Diehl - Briar Fox 2oz
*sip* ahhhhh
This is gonna sound really strange, but Briar Fox is like drinking a nice, tall, cool glass of water. Interpret that how you will.

Sillem's - Black 100g
Ooooo!
This...is fantastic. The End. Seriously though, look no further searching for the perfect crossover/hybrid blend. Much more better blended than something comparable to eastfarthing or independence day.

Cornell & Diehl - Afternoon Delight 2oz
Pretty basic
With the ingredients list on this blend, i was anxious to pack it in and spark it up..thinking itd land on my taste buds like plum pudding or Mississippi river. It did not. I found it a mild english with your standard features found in this type of blend..with a slight sweetness from the black cavendish. Bummer.

Esoterica - Tilbury 2oz
Welllllll..
As my palate continues to develop over the 2yrs of pipe smoking, im growing more fond of the virginia leaf. Reading the description of this mythical blend sounded like heaven in a tin for me. But as i went through my burning bowl of tillbury, i quickly became disappointed. What is touted as some of the finest tobacco ever produced, I couldn't help but disagree more. The taste was middle of the road at best. It left a nasty aftertaste that lingered for an eternity. The smell...my goodness, I couldn't get it off of my hands, clothes, whatever it touched just saturated through everything. Im glad it ended up being something i didn't enjoy, because it is so hard to find.

Seattle Pipe Club - Hogshead 4oz
Possibility..
I think what we have going on here, are resellers that buy up the stock to turn a profit. I think maybe setting a limit per day on all of these small batches or limited releases will allow others to enjoy getting their hands on some.

Sutliff - A Taste of Summer 1.5oz
Underrated!
I saw this tin at my local store and didnt recognize it at all. I bought it and didn't expect much. Wow was i wrong. This was a fantastic smoke from beginning to end. Easy to light, easy to smoke, smooth, mild and full of taste. Anyone with a sweet tooth absolutely needs to try this hidden gem.

Esoterica - Margate 2oz
Overrated
Of the three Esoterica blends I've tried so far, this one is just so....bland. The best way i can put it, is like smoking a piece of wood. It left an awful aftertaste that i could not get rid of. I personally think Artisans Blend is better, cheaper and more easier to come by than this.
