Mac Baren - Vanilla Flake 1.75oz
Fantastic Room Note
A very mild (for a flake) Burley-esq kind of smoke. Consistent to the bottom with a mild gentle vanilla and no ashy afterbite and no chemical notes. Smoother and milder than the Vanilla Roll Cake... this comes with one of the most fantastic lingering room notes I have ever encountered.

Go orange!
Sometimes, you just want to get orange. This is a serious flake with a strong profile, but with the citrus addition it becomes as tame as a glass of OJ. I just LOVE the way this smells! Towards the finish the citrus takes a backseat to the pressed tobacco flavor of the flake. Not a daily but a regular and the tin can go fast sometimes!

Great wakeup smoke
One of my favorite first smokes of the day and I usually load it into a plain old billiard. Its a fast burner and has a good nic hit with a pleasant but light vanilla and rum. Fairly consistent. Perfect in lieu of coffee!

Hello Coffee House!
Consistent from the start, this will instantly take you to the local hipster coffee house and deposit you at camp hazlenut vanilla latte (with a touch of baileys for good measure). The room note matches the flavor. The profile never stops building, it slows down at the end but the finish can be a bit strong. Overdo it and it will coat your tongue and goop your mouth... so not a daily... But great for the occasional after dinner smoke.

Takes me far away
The cavendish leads but quickly builds to deliver exactly what the label says: a delicious hot chocolate reminiscent of a sidewalk cafe high in the Swiss alps. The profile lightens at the finish but stays consistent to the end. So far... this is my favorite of the chocolates. The tin emptied much faster than I wanted. Great before bed!

Fruit, but with a little bite
Classic C&D blend with light fruit. The fruit leads and its lovely... towards the end it dies down and the tobacco dominates. Can get ashy if smoked hot. Good for an all day aro... and I went through it quickly :)

A royal success
Tin was a year old when smoked. Very similar to 7 seas royal blend. Possibly a bit more fruity and not so heavy on the vanilla. Very clean with a polished finish. The tobacco was present but very light... the aro leads and its consistent to the end.

A Delightful Snack
Sweet apricot at the start slowly gives way to chocolatey cavendish for the finish. I didnt really notice the vanilla, just the sweetness of it. It has a bit of tang early on but settles down into the classic C&D feel at the end. A bit of snap crackle pop and a little slow to light but smokes steady after that. I like this. I expected a ghost given how strong the flavor profile is at the start but was happy to see this not happen. Its a bit to sweet for regular rotation but every few days its a great alternative.

Pretty amazing
Everything I expected from a pressed Virgina/Burley/Cav combo. Strong and well melded, but about as polished as it gets. Arrived perfectly packed in a little gold wrapper, and smokes just as great.

A clean classic
Just the right amount of treatment to augment that classic well cured Virginia. It hits a little strong so not an all day smoke but good for once a day for sure... enough to stock up.

Great take on a classic
Delivers as promised. This is a great EU variant to a classic drugstore blend, but with none of the drugstore taste. Light chocolate sits on top of a mildy punchy base and has the MB signature finish, great for when you want some classic cavendish but with a bit more hit to it. One of my daily's.

Treat your inner snob
This does exactly what it sets out to do and delivers a smooth EU variant to a classic drugstore blend. Vanilla sits nicely on top of a slightly punchy tobacco base, but with none of the harshness. One of my daily goto's.

Hello Rivendell
If Elrond smoked a pipe (I believe he does), this would be the tobacco you find in it. Delicate yet strong, with just the right amount of sweetness... and a hint of cinnamon, rasin, and vanilla that blends nicely with the distinctness of the izmir. You must have the wisdom to go slow to truly enjoy, as burning hot will quickly degenerate into a forest fire. My tin was about 1 yr old when received. Stored in the freezer to because I know how to read reviews and didn't want any mold issues :p.Filled with flakes that were a bit broken lengthwise, my best results were to just roll up a few and drop lengthwise into a pipe before tamping. Great for an hour or so of wispy puffs.

Game Changer
Not kidding... this made me a better smoker. Freshly opened this can bite your whole mouth from across the room before you even light up. Once you learn to smoke it proper, it turns into the chocolate chip cookie king of tobacco: Consistent, lasts forever, and an aroma that I just cant seem to get enough of. People around me actively compliment the room note when I smoke it in public. I have a Meer dedicated to this and as it bakes in it becomes even more fantastic. The only one I order in bulk. Please never stop making this!
Cornell & Diehl - Green River Vanilla
Snap Crackle Pop Smooth
Great smoke to compliment coffee or tea, super smooth and creamy. Lots of vanilla aftertaste. Was best just on the edge of hot with long steady draws. Clouds of smoke. All the other reviews about being very moist are correct. It will goop up your fingers so load carefully and avoid getting it on anything.
