Prince Albert - Prince Albert 14oz
like christopher, from the same area. the selection was limited back in the day. from the price it commeands i suspect it is still quite popular. as good and better than alot of boutique blends made today. a simple yet tasteful smoke. enjoy it with coffee or tea.
Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - #25 Mixture
this is one I keep on hand always. I buy 500 g at a time and keep it jarred. a very good All-day English. mild and well blended. the cut is awesome. fragrant and smokey. has that typical leather taste and the Virginias play well with this blend. try it and love it. surprised more haven't reviewed it.
Peterson - Sweet Killarney 50g
I enjoy this with my coffee. caramel vanilla and toasted coconut are what I taste. very pleasant smoke to sip on. great right out of the tin. burns very well and flavor carries till the end.
Peterson - 3 P's Peterson's Perfect Plug 50g
This is old school plug.dense and takes some prep. A great experience for a great smoke. I usually keep three tin’s aging for a year or more. It’s good fresh but time will mellow it out. This is not for first timers. It does have a good mic hit but not over powering. Prep it any way u like. Flavor is typical of Virginia with that grassy hay like flavor and the burly gives it a slight bite if u go at it hard. Go slow u get some raisins or apricot along with toasted marshmallow. Go hard and it can be rough on ya. How u cut and prep can make a big difference in ur experience. I use a Peterson house pipe cause when I smoke this I take my time. Give it a try and relax a bit. Lay ur burden down and enjoy
Seattle Pipe Club - Hogshead 4oz
Done with these folks promoting something you can’t get.
Rattray's - Red Rapparee 100g
Luv this blend. great quality of leaves and taste.has something that kind of numbs the tounge in a good way.kind of like eating a horehound candy i suppose.not the best for indoors as it has a slight musty smell that may be off putting to some. could smoke it exclusively if not for all the others i must try.
