Peterson - Irish Flake 50g
For a nicotine craving
I am a fairly new pipe smoker, coming from cigarettes and was looking to give that up. I had found an English, which is what I thought I liked, but it didn't scratch that itch when the craving hit. Then I found this bad boy. I went through the first tin quickly. I had tried some other tobaccos, but on discovering my long lost taste returning, ordered a couple more tins of Irish Flake. All the things I liked about it at first were still there; the good smoke, the dark flavors, the nicotine. There was a new sweetness that I didn't get the first time around, Not strong, but in the background. It made me like this even more. While I am still in my "try everything" phase, and still smoking other strong nic tobaccos, I find that this is the one thing I smoke nearly everyday. It has none of the bite that some other burley blends give me without sacrificing any of the oomph. I can't think of a single thing to say I don't like about this tobacco. It's even one of the few things I smoke that my family does not mind the smell of.
