Sutliff - Red Virginia Ribbon
Yucky After Taste
Not a very good after taste or flavor for my palette, i tend to prefer Golden Virginia vs Red Virginia, this seems almost cigar like scent and taste when smoked for some odd reason.

Great Stuff All Day Long
Tasty, Decent Nic Hit and mild enough to smoke all day and night. Blended with some Perique for a more Robust Flavor and Nic Hit. Will be back for more of this blend. Nice aroma and not an overbearing after taste due to the mild strength of tobacco used.

Nice aroma, moist, prefer drier blends, so i let it sit out for a few hours before using. Mix and blend with Kendal Gold Shag after drying out, had interesting results for me.

Not For Me At All
Surprised, not a fan of this blend at all, after taste yucky in my opinion, strength seems more than 2/5 not a fan of orange/citrus like scent blends. A few friends love this stuff, so i gave to 1 of them after not liking this blend at all.

Blissful Experience
Opened this as soon as it arrived and i'm glad i did, got another VA Perique Blend to add to my arsenal. Nutty, Slightly Sweet, but extremely mellow and smooth from beginning to end of bowl. Very Very impressed and disappointed i did not try this blend before. Not at all spicy, as others mentioned. I will be ordering a lot more of this blend and see what happens after aging it a bit, if i can resist not opening every tin.

Used to be Good Years Ago
Was a fan of a few blends from D&R from 2010-2015 and figured i try it again in 2021, but the recipe has been changed or maybe my taste palette has gotten better over the years. Harsh and not enjoyable at all with a most recent purchase in 2019 or 2021. Not Smoking Pipes fault, just a terrible experience in Pipe or RYO, will just give it away to buddies at work who like Generic Drum/OHM variety pipe tobacco's. It could be that i'm just spoiled now.. Will stick to companies that make a quality product. Even for the low price of D & R, i will never go back to any blends from this company in the future. But i assume some people might enjoy what i no longer i can tolerate.

Seems like more than 5% Perique
Have tried this again and again over the years, as i enjoy Virginia Perique Blends, but never regularly. Seems much stronger than most claim, closer to Strong than Medium, across the board (Taste, Nic Strength, Aroma) than other blends in the same Medium or Mild range... I tend to add more Virginia blends to it to tame it down a notch. But worth a try for anyone who likes Darker Blends with Virginia Perique.

Wonderful VA Perique Blend
A Family Favorite, especially outdoors after a long days work. Not Mild in taste and far from Strong or potent, wonderful aroma, my uncle always has a few tins of this at his place. I prefer to dry it out a bit personally beforehand, Medium Nic Hit and some Nice Bite and After Taste, not for the Mild Crowd or for all day and night smoking in my opinion....

Simply the Best "Virginia"
Wow, this is by far the best, pure virginia tobacco i've ever tried. Can be used alone or blended with other tobacco's. On it's own it's mild enough, but still tasty to my palette preferences, to enjoy all day and night. Very little room note which is great while smoking indoors at home. I'm strictly into Virginia on its own, with no extra flavorings or blended with a pinch of perique tobacco. I use it to mimic American Spirit Perique in RYO (rolling papers or filtered tubes). Well worth the money for this beautiful tobacco. When used in a pipe, i tend to add a bit more perique for a more robust flavor and taste. Smoking pipes is superb in quality and moisture of tobacco's and super friendly service, also very fast delivery to your door.
