Seattle Pipe Club - Hogshead 4oz
My second thoughts.
After begging, borrowing, and stealing to come across a ton of this at release I was extremely disappointed. If you could somehow like and smoke A1 Bold and spicy steak sauce it couldn’t come any closer. Upon revisiting the tin today some of that has gone away for me but i will not be buying again. At any price not to mention the absurd ones that just about every Seattle pipe club blend is.
G. L. Pease - Fillmore 2oz
GL Pease does it again
Fillmore is everything I've come to love in a VaPer. That wonderful grassy, bready sweetness. The perique is dark and fruity and just the right amount of spice. Going to be keeping this one in my rotation.

That's a spicy meatball!
I am picking up some nice sweetness but the spice is very forward in this blend. One would swear it has 25% perique hiding in there.
Mac Baren - HH Old Dark Fired Ready Rubbed
Only burley for me.
I'm a huge lover of dark fired kentucky and what could be better than a full dose of it. Only thing I use to break in an uncoated bowl and I always keep it handy this time of year.

Annoyed
What good is a notification email when it's already sold out. Seriously! Limit the purchase quantity or something.
Cornell & Diehl - Bijou 2oz
Unique
I've never smoked a Virginia blend with a good amount of oriental and the spice level is perfect. At the first a get a taste of oats and honey. Then the blend deepens and the oats become lighter and I get almost a malted barley from the red Virginia's with that lovely spiciness thought. Definitely going to buy a few more tins to cellar. Lovely blend!
G. L. Pease - Odyssey 2oz
Woah.
After my first good puff my hair promptly turned white while my eyes rolled in their sockets like a slot machine. Jackpot! I've devoured half the tin and I don't think I can get out of my seat. Life is good.
G. L. Pease - Windjammer 2oz
Almost perfect
I absolutely mostly really enjoyed this blend but as with another tobacco I've discovered that Cavendish and my tongue are not the best of company. But that dried fruit and cocoa notes quickly got my attention. Then the burley gave me that great nic hit that I crave. Gonna cellar it for a year or two and see how that Cavendish behaves.
G. L. Pease - Sixpence 2oz
A new favorite?
First off, every GLP blend I've ever tried has been something special to me. Above all others Navigator has been the one I reach for the most but I have to saw WOW why haven't I tried this sooner!
G. L. Pease - Quiet Nights 2oz
Oh the Orientals!
My tin came ever so slightly on the moist side, but after 20 minutes of dry time it was pure heaven. Even in a brand new pipe! In my experience it's definitely better rubbed out.

Peerless
I try different blends constantly but this one I always have on hand. The Virginia's are definitely center stage and the kentucky really helps to strengthen and smooth out the blend. The gentle use of rum is the best I have experienced.
Peterson - 3 P's Peterson's Perfect Plug 50g
Pretty darn good
As far as plugs go, i usually come back to this one. However like another reviewer said I wish it came in bulk or larger tins like I purchase for my mainstay tobaccos.
