Cornell & Diehl - Black Frigate 2oz
Navy Cake with Tattoos
This is a cake cut that has a rum note too it. It has that slight boozy aroma out of the tin and in the pipe. The main players are the virginia and orientals with a faint, and I mean whisper faint, hint of latakia. It's just enough to add a note without making it a full on smokey english blend which allows the sweet and sour leaves to come through. Great summer and fall smoke. I haven't aged it yet but will add to cellar.

Favorite English
I haven't had them all, but this may be my favorite English blend. Good smoke in the tin and the pipe, mellow but spicy enough to just be flat out great. All day for sure, great good weather smoke.

Good, good English
SG flakes are epic, but their ribbon cut blends have some really good gems and this is one. Smokey and spicy, smooth and mellow. Don't let it dry out and you'll be treated from start to finish on this one. Great blend for the river or the grill. All weather blend.

One of the best
Classic small irregular Mac Baren Coins. Aside from breaking my pal off with some, I went through this entire tin with no breaks. Creamy and sweet, spicy and full. I saved a tin back from the first go around and stocked up on more. I can't wait to see what some age will do for this select blend.

Southern BBQ Bomb
Caution, this is good stuff but will overpower the smoker if the vigor of the puffer is too high. The nicotine is stout and hits early and can linger. Tin note smells of Memphis BBQ and the flavors are full, ramping up in the 2/3 bowl zone. Beautiful flakes age well once in the jar and can take tin storage as you smoke through the flakes

Solid Smokey Smoke
I got into English blends pretty early on. Now, I have to be in the mood. This one fits the bill quite nice. Solid flavors and wood smoke forward. Easy to see why it's so popular.

Sweet coins
Trying this one out on my coin series. MB makes really nice coin cuts and these are no exception. The flavor isn't my cup of tea as much as some others but I think it's still a good, high quality blend. On the sweeter side of the spectrum, so if that suits you, it will be enjoyable.

Good Coins
A Solid Coin offering. I keep a jar of these in the consol. Very consistent flavor. It's almost always in stock but that doesn't mean it's bad. I've tried other blends that were ok and used this one to clean the pallet.

Faint Aro, Flake
This is a good blend. There is a faint booze scent in the tin but little to none on the smoke. First half is mild, better as you go. Decent all day, flakes are nice and dry after a little jar time.
