Sutliff - 515 RC-1
Not 5100 But so close!
I just bought this stuff. Bought a pound and I'm glad I did! It is acidic almost, at first. Drying it fixes that. If you have ever had Snyders Honey Mustard and onion pretzel bites, that is the sort of taste you might find here. I did. And I love it. No,this isn't Red Cake. But I'm glad it's not. That belongs to McClelland, the same way Burley belongs to Cornell &Diehl or a solid English goes to GL Pease. But it is,in my opinion, able to scratch the same itch. In fact I'd argue it does so better than McClelland because I can enjoy it with a lot less trepidation. The looming fear of "once it's gone" does not haunt my waking dreams.

Cornell & Diehl - Crooner
An Absolute Favorite
It isn't really a secret that C&D is to Burley what Col. Sanders is/was to chicken, However, this stuff is amazing. Now, two other Favorites for me are OJK and Five Brothers - I like Burley! But,this stuff has a sweet, yet Herbal (think oriental) and sometimes near Floral note... but I'd say mostly it's a sweet, almost woody note, again, akin to Turkish/Oriental. It's cube cut, so you know it behaves well. I've had it in cobs, briar, BRYLON, clay... this stuff is a winner.

War Horse - Green 1.75oz
Good Stuff!
Mixture 79, but more Anisette and Amaretto with DFK. I have had it in Briar, Meerschaum, Cob and Brylon. Burns cool in all of them.(yes, even the brylon) In fact, it tastes amazing in Brylon. Though, it tastes amazing period.
