Rattray's - Hal O' The Wynd 100g
Saturday morning starter
I routinely enjoy this first thing in the morning with some black coffee. A delightful way to start the day. Flavor is absolutely outstanding.

Everyday perfect
To me this is worthy of everyday smoking perfection. I don’t get the association to cigarettes at all, but I do get the notes of a fine mild cigar. Throughout the smoke, some puffs you will pull some heavy spice while others will be surprisingly sweet, but your fixation will always be on that lovely, earthy tobacco taste. The complexity is there no matter what, and my interest is fully held until the end of the bowl. There is a decent nic hit here, but it is like dipping your feet into a nice hot bath on a warm day. Nothing to send you into a shock or discomfort but a nice easing into a more relaxed state of body and mind. Always burning cool, it promotes easy leisure and the chance to get lost into calm. Thank you C&D for producing this blend.

Mountain Dew
Love this stuff. Reminds me of a Smokey Mountain Dew.

A favorite
I like it aged and in a cob but anyway you have it, if you treat it right and with respect then it will transport you to better destinations. One of the best smokes of my life was a bowl aged 5 years. My life flashed before my eyes and I thought I was in heaven.

Very Enjoyable
A very enjoyable smoke. Upon opening the Tin, which had a very pleasant note, I moved it to a jar and let a fair amount air out for around 30-40 mins. The smoke was rich, creamy, sweet, and cool. I think you really have to take your time with it to pull the notes from the tin. I wasn’t able to pull the chocolate note while smoking, but after smoking my palate was left with some hints of cocoa and nuts, and I was reluctant to cleanse it. Looking forward to seeing how it responds to some age and time.
