BriarWorks - Pete's Beard's Blend 2oz
The Bearded English
After going through a few bowls of this blend I think it is a very well-balanced blend. I tend to notice more of a grassy or earthy note to it, yet it does slightly remind me of my favorite English blend the Presbyterian Mixture, yet, I am not sure if I would consider them shoulder to shoulder on the scale of English blends. Nonetheless, my jar of this came with the tobacco at a perfect moisture level for my liking, and it is quite nice that this comes already in a jar. All this makes for what I think is a very good starting English blend. It does lead me to want to try the rest of the Briar Works Blends.

Peterson - Standard Mixture 50g
The Standard English
This is a real standard English blend. A blend very accessible to any variation of pipe smoker. It has a real pleasant earthy and woody note, and really enjoyable, by no means overwhelming or strong. I think this is a blend that every pipe smoker should give a try.

A Quality VaPer
An easy blend to get into, certainly not an overwhelming tin of tobacco. Enjoyable for the learner along with the most experienced of pipe smokers due to the enjoyable fruity or plum-like tin aroma and taste while smoking. No real tongue bite unless you are rather overzealous with your smoking. Certainly, a blend to give a try to those who haven't.

My Standard English
While many may place Dunhill's/Peterson's Standard Mixture as their standard English mixture, understandable, this is my preferred and standard English mixture. The aroma from the tin is delightful and rather sweat. When smoking the blend is just a little bit mild, a little sweet, but still offers what would be expected of an English blend. The only issue being that most may want to slightly dry it after opening the tin, though I don't have much of an issue with this. This would be a good beginning blend, a good daily blend, and just an enjoyable blend for any pipe smoker.

Three Nuns - Three Nuns 1.75oz
Lovely Virginia
This one is not my favorite Virginia blend, but it is one I would buy again after finishing a tin. It is not overwhelming or strong but does have a lovely taste, and a bit of interesting history to the enjoyers of the blend.

Cornell & Diehl - Haunted Bookshop 2oz
My Preferred Burley
This is my preferred burley blend out of the lot I have tried. It is not overwhelming while still having plenty of flavor, and it arrives in the tin with a perfect level of moisture, at least for my liking. You also can't forget about Matches 860 with this blend.
