Sutliff - Match 20
Nice!!
Very close to Peterson/Dunhill 965, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Still think I prefer the original to this though.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Scotch Mixture
Good!!
Nice and mellow, very close to any other english mixture. Worth a try.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - DVC
Yessiree
Very nice and mellow smoke, sweet taste from the virginia and not harsh at all. Easy all day smoke.

Sutliff - 504C Aromatic English
Good Stuff
More english than aromatic to me, a good all day smoke that even the wife doesn't mind the smell of. Winner!

Lane Limited - RLP-6
Nice and Easy
Easy all day smoke, nice tin note and room note. I'm not usually one for aromatics but this tobacco does the trick!

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Dark Bird's Eye
Pretty Strong
Definitely a strong dark fired smoke! Lots of taste and nicotine. Got a little jittery while smoking it, but good all around.

Seattle Pipe Club - Seattle Evening 2oz
Another Seattle Great
I really like this blend, it smokes well all day and I don't get tired of it. As others have pointed out it reminds me of Nightcap, another great smoke.

Cornell & Diehl - Sun Bear Black Locust 2oz
Glad I got some!
I was lucky enough to get some Sun Bear and it is truly nice. Spicy and sweet, a nice summer smoke.

Sutliff - Crumble Kake English #1 1.5oz
Good Over All
Tin note not overly special but good. Smoking it is pleasant. a Nice smoke over all.

Mac Baren - The Solent Mixture 3.5oz
Ash tray taste
The tin note on this one is miraculous, but smoking it leaves much to be desired. I got a sour, ashy taste from it. Not for me.

Comoy's - Cask No.12 3.5oz
Sweet Virginia
I can really smell the vanilla in the tin, smoking is smooth and enjoyable.

Samuel Gawith - Brown No. 4 Rope 50g
Very Good
Only my second rope tobacco to try... and I like it! Smooth and strong, nice tin note and manly room note.

Samuel Gawith - Grousemoor 50g
I dunno...
Can't make up my mind if I like this or not. No denying it has a unique smell and taste, sometimes reminds me of menthol cigarettes. Worth a try, I can see how someone could love or hate this aromatic.

Presbyterian - Presbyterian 50g
Not For Me
I was really excited to try this blend based on reviews... and was disappointed. I got no real flavors out of it but did receive quite a bit of tongue bite. One positive, I really enjoyed the tin note.

Cornell & Diehl - Purple Cow 2oz
Pleasant, Unique
Pretty mellow and satisfying smoke. Smooth enough you could smoke it any time of day. For those who also smoke cigars: the addition of cigar leaf is nice, not overpowering, just enough to taste and smell. I don't usually like smoking cigar blends in my pipe but this one is good.

Comoy's - Cask No.1 3.5oz
Solid
An extremely mellow and mild smoke, nice sweetness and smoky. An easy all day smoke.

Seattle Pipe Club - Mississippi River Rum Barrel Aged 2oz
Spicy Sweetness
The tin note is awesome on this one and I got a very sweet and satisfying smoke out of it. If you like rum this is a must-try!

A & C Petersen - Escudo Navy Deluxe 50g
Great Smoke
I really like the sweet tin note and taste of this blend. I think it has an edge over Petersons De Luxe Navy Rolls, but both are excellent. Can't go wrong with this one.

Seattle Pipe Club - Deception Pass 2oz
Good like all Seattle Pipe tobacco
I'm a fan of every Seattle Pipe Club tobacco I've tried and this is no exception. Great, fruity tin note and pleasant smoke with sweet after tones. Everyone I've shared with has like it too.

Samuel Gawith - Black XX Rope 50g
I like it!
Various reviews about this tobacco. My first rope tobacco and I liked it! I thought the tin note was nice and got a sweet taste while smoking. I can see why some don't like it but I'm a fan!

Seattle Pipe Club - Mississippi River 2oz
Tasty
This tastes better than the actual Mississippi River, I guarantee it. A little sweet with a healthy dose of spice, it smokes nicely overall. Good room note.

Seattle Pipe Club - Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel Aged 2oz
Sweet Deliciousness!
Wow, I really like this stuff! I can tell a definite difference from Plum Pudding Special Reserve, both are great. If you like the regular Plum Pudding, this should be next for your buying consideration. Has a great aftertaste.

Sutliff - Crumble Kake Barrel Aged Series No.1 Limited Edition 50g
Sweet and Tasty
This is very satisfying to smoke, great flavors with a definite sweetness, glad I bought more than one tin!

Peterson - Standard Mixture 50g
Easy Smokin' English
A nice and gentle English blend of tobaccos, smokes and burns well. Nice flavor and easily an all day smoke. Has just the right amount of spice. Went very well with coffee and doughnuts!

Bengal Slices - Bengal Slices 1.75oz
Quite Nice
A very nice blend, I got citrus and lots of tang, very well balanced. I usually lean towards Virginias but this is definitely a nice English.

Dunhill - Three Year Matured 50g
Rich, Stout, Delicious
Reviews are interesting for this VA, I found it quite nice with rich smoke and lots of flavor. Seemed pretty full bodied and robust for a VA. Tin note sweet and savory and room note also nice. This seems like a good choice if you're in to virginias.

Seattle Pipe Club - Plum Pudding Special Reserve 4oz
Special Reserve is truly special
Lots of flavor and extra smooth. Loved it from beginning to end. Pleasant retrohale. I've read other reviewers saying to try this if you like Royal Yacht but I didn't really find them comparable, even though both are excellent. I plan on cellaring plenty more of this!

Gold Block - Gold Block 1.75oz
Gold Block Delivers
Tin note is very pleasant and the bowl smoked well, I got nutty citrus/orange out of it. I can see why this is popular overseas, it seems like a good "anytime smoke."

Arango - Balkan Supreme
Smooooth Balkan
I'm normally not much of a Balkan lover, but this proved to be a nice blend of tobaccos. A cool, even smoke with plenty of taste. The different tobaccos seem to be mixed in appropriate proportions, nothing was overpowering. I would recommend this one.

Comoy's - Cask No.11
Light and Smooth
A great smoke, light and smooth with a pleasant taste. Very mellow and easy to smoke, no tongue bite at all. Also a very cool smoke. Can't go wrong here.

Cornell & Diehl - Three Friars
Nice and Natural
I found this to be a good even keel smoke from beginning to end. Lots of nut flavor came out for me with just a little bit of spice. The aftertaste was slightly sweet. A well balanced all day smoke.

Peterson - Flake 50g
Raisin Bran
You read that title right, when I retrohale this I taste fruits and nuts with raisins, reminded me of the cereal. But this is not a bad thing! I enjoyed the taste and aftertaste, a good all around Virginia. Soft, long draws produced a citrus/lemon flavor for me. I found that I prefer rubbing out the flakes and smoking them rather that folding and stuffing them.

Peterson - De Luxe Navy Rolls 50g
Good Stuff
I enjoyed smoking these tobacco coins a lot. A little bit sweet, a little bit spicy. The flavors were hard for me to pin down, fruity with coconut maybe? At any rate Navy Rolls would be a fine addition to anyone's rotation.

Cornell & Diehl - Carolina Red Flake 2oz
Guess I'm a Weirdo
Everyone seems to love this tobacco, but not me. Plenty of flavor and rich smoke, just not my cup of tea, I got a bitter taste. I normally love Virginias but this one didn't do it for me. The room note reminded me of my grandfather's moldy old tobacco barn.

Dunhill - Ready Rubbed 50g
Enjoyable
Reviews seem to be all over the map on this blend from Dunhill. It's not my favorite Dunhill tobacco out there but I still like it. I get a citrus taste from it and enjoy the room note. If tin note is your thing, this one smells very nice. Overall I think it's a good smoke for anyone.

Peterson - Nightcap 50g
Nice and Satisfying
A very mellow smoke with a sweet aftertaste. Truly a good way to end the day!

Peterson - Elizabethan Mixture 50g
Nice Smoke
I love all of these old Dunhill blends... this one is no exception. Sweet smell in the tin and smokes well with a nice touch of spice. I could smoke this any time of day.

Peterson - My Mixture 965 50g
Classic, through and through
What can be said about 965 that hasn't been said before? A true classic, balanced blend with plenty of flavor and nice room note. The only problem with it is I don't have enough tins!

Samuel Gawith - Skiff Mixture 50g
Not bad...
Pretty straight forward English tobacco, overall good but I got a little tongue bite from it.

Peterson - Hyde Park 50g
Pretty Good
Has a nice flavor and smokes well, my only gripe is that is seems to smoke a little hot.

Peterson - Royal Yacht 50g
Woo Hoo!!!!!
This just might be my favorite tobacco blend. Smells awesome in the tin, smokes great, tastes superb. The aroma and taste remind me of plums, fig, and dates. I'm pretty sure the secret ingredient is crack, I have to smoke bowl after bowl. So glad I finally decided to try it!

Lighters - Kiribi Kabuto Black Nickel
Great Lighter
I really like the esthetics of this lighter and it feels hefty in the hand. I do occasionally have to strike the flint more than once to get it to light, but once it does it's great for lighting a pipe. I would totally buy this brand again.

G. L. Pease - Quiet Nights 2oz
Lovely!
I'm really enjoying this blend. Tastes great and smokes nicely. I almost enjoy the room note more than the taste, and that's saying alot!

Cornell & Diehl - Bailey's Front Porch 2oz
Really Quite Nice
Very mellow mixture of tobacco with plenty of taste. Easy to smoke with little to no bite. I love the sweetness and pleasant room note.

G. L. Pease - Montgomery 2oz
Sweet and Satisfying
I love the sweet smell out of the tin and the sweet aroma out of the pipe. A definite "go to" for Virginias.

Peterson - Early Morning Pipe 50g
Great Blend
This smokes smooth and mellow, very nice aroma and a sweet taste. I could easily smoke this all day long. In my top five tobaccos for regular smoking.
