Joe Krantz, but in a sawmill
First light was sweet and spicy. A bit of old wood, black pepper, and wet hay. Further into the bowl, woody tastes takeover and I get next to none of the nuttiness people describe. I'm just getting sawdust and hardwood smoke by 1/3 of the way through the bowl, and by the end, nothing by dry air. Maybe the bulk bag I got was overly dried. I'm going to try remoistening and putting this away for a while. Will check back in. Edit: after remoistening, I really dig this stuff. Nice warning effect, and now I'm getting the nuts and unsweetened cocoa. Pleasantly surprised. Updated rating from 3 to 3.5.
