A Surprising Blend
I'm an old pipe smoker who's searching for a great blend. I'm tired of and disappointed in aromatics and it's a little off-putting to have to begin to buy lots of new tobaccos and tobacco blends to find the one I truly love. To avoid this, I took a can of Eddie G. that I purchased from SmokingPipes.com and decided that it was too harsh on the tongue and it needed to be mellowed out a little. I added some Green Valley vanilla flavored burley that I had laying around and mixed it thoroughly. Wow...that additional Burley really mellowed the smoke out and now I'm truly enjoying my tin of Eddie G. Lesson learned: figure out which tobaccos you love to smoke and make your own blends.
