Samuel Gawith - Full Virginia Plug 8oz
James Marc R.
Hi. Late to to the party here but Mr. James Marc R., you absolutely need to chill out. Pouting in the reviews section and getting aggressive with imaginary people in your head and calling them "Marys" (what year are you living in?) is so insane. And it's ironic because you are–I assume–implying some kind of fragility about other fellow pipe smokers yet here you are acting like a petulant child in the reviews section. I would tell you to just call this little thing called customer service but you'd probably abuse them as well. What makes me laugh the most is that after all the fuss, here you are, still ordering and leaving reviews lol Anyway, it was entertaining nonetheless but damn man... Relax.
Sutliff - Irish Creme
Just Not Good
This one just wasn't it for me. The "tin note" itself isn't that great and just smells burnt and very... Vague? It certainly doesn't smell like Irish cream. The taste of the smoke is also very underwhelming, plain, and just not good. Again, even the smoke just tastes vague and I have no idea how to even describe what it tastes like. I *rarely* toss out a tobacco entirely because I feel that it's wasteful and I just don't like to for the principle of the matter. However, this one just had to go.
Sutliff - B23 Black Cherry
One of the Best
Of all the cherry tobaccos I've had, this one is one of my favorites and the "tin note" is just fantastic. It's super bready and smells like a really nice cherry dough or batter. The cherry taste is perfect, stays present through the entirety of the smoke, tastes exactly how it smells in the bag/pouch, and has a very nice sweetness to it. It's also perfect right out of the bag/pouch but from what I can tell–once jarred up for a little bit–it gets even better. Maybe a touch of dry time but I think that would be a personal preference for this one and if so, I would suggest very minimal. I personally don't with this one. It's a slow burner so take your time; it's definitely worth it. No tongue bite unless you're puffing away like crazy, of course. It burns down to a nice white ash and once it does you'll immediately want another pipe full. At least I do, anyway.
