Peterson - My Mixture 965 50g

Wonderful, fragrant, and smooth smoke. This is going to the top of my rotation. This is closer to a Balkan blend, no spice, nice tin note. Relights are average. A delightful experience. I'm hoping the match is similar so I can more for a better cost. Good job Peterson!

Cornell & Diehl - Visions of Celephaïs 2oz
Very Nice
With the more negative reviews, I was a bit concerned I may not like this. A very pleasant smoke. The "grape" is not overwhelming, its more like something infused in wine. If you like that you'll like this. 4.5 stars.

Great Stuff
4.5 stars. Has a warm, spicy, clove type of taste to it. I feel like I have to be in contemplation with this one. Some tongue burn, so don't go too fast. Really enjoyed the mix of taste and scent. Buying more.

Sutliff - Tobacco Galleria: Night Cap

A great relaxing aromatic. I thought this would have been more of an English blend, but it's more of a crossover type. The cordial gives a great and pleasant touch.

Lane Limited - BCA
Wonderful
This BCA blend is better than 1Q. It's a great aromatic, no tongue bite.

Sutliff - Tobacco Galleria: Night Cap
Pretty good
Has a nice fragrance. Be sure to dry it out before smoking.

A smooth smoke with a touch of pepper (perique). The peppery taste is not overbearing, it's like a seasoning. Very good campfire or fireplace smell. Will be adding many more tins.

Captain Black - Cherry 1.5oz
Not great.
This was my first pipe tobacco, it had a good room note but it was very wet, took a while to dry it. I packed my pipe and got tongue bite, so dried another stash of this for longer (an hour or so) and had the same thing happen. There are way too many tobacco options and I tried but wasn't a fan.

Carter Hall - Carter Hall 14oz
Magnificent
I wanted to try some of thr "codger" blends. This was my first burley and it was great. The right dryness in the pouch, easy to pack my pipe with no real effort, easy to light, and it kept smoking and smoking. Tamped twice. I could have probably finished the bowl but just wanted to go about 20 minutes. It was fantastic. Will get the 14oz next time.

Different expectations
I had different expectations about this blend. I think i expected more "aroma", like a crossover. More of a cigarette odor.

Peterson - Early Morning Pipe 50g
Didn't like
Didn't enjoy this, it smelled like plain old cigarettes, ashy odor. Wanted to like this, but no.

Lane Limited - 1-Q
Good aroma
This Lane 1-Q is a good smoke. Room note is important to me and it had a good aroma of vanilla in the air. I did get quite bitter tongue bite. Aired out the tobacco and the bite decreased. Overall a good smoke.
