Cornell & Diehl - Atlas Balkan
Burley Balkan is more like it
The Latakia is very forward on the nose but the Burley is star of this blend. I get the comments of it tasting ashy and the nic hit is definitely stronger than other Balkans I've tried. Not bad over all but I think I'll mix a little in a little Virginia to round it out.

Blah - Don't need more of this...
Opening this tin, I was surprised by the lack of tin note. No Chocolate or port. Looking at it, the white burley dominates the mix with no hint of Kentucky. It is unusually dry for a C&D mix so it lights quickly and stays burning well but not much there for flavors. I definitely don't get any Perique in the mix or even a lot of Virginia "hay".

Seriously, it's my first time smoking this blend and I will definitely add this to the rotation.
